Arabella smiled and kissed him again. Her thoughts again were pulled to what would happen if he brother was sent to find her. Tristan would ruin everything, she thought. He would ruin my happiness. And I've been looking for it for so long, I can't lose it now. She thought again, but happier thoughts this time; Is it just happiness or something more? Am I falling in love?

Patch heard horses, and men. "Quickly hide in that trunk now!" he ordered, he got his bow and arrows out, he handed her a dagger "If anyone comes near the trunk stab them" he ordered. He aimed his arrow to the sounds.

Arabella gasped and jumped around, trying to stuff herself in the trunk before whatever Patch had heard got to where they were standing. She pulled the lid shut and held the dagger tightly in her hand until her knuckles turned white. She heard the horses hooves and the men's voices as they drew nearer.

Patch shot his arrow, getting it in one of the bandits arms. The others glared at him "Hey you, what was that for?". Patch stood his ground with a poisoned arrow "If i hadn't stopped you, you'd have killed me" he replied shooting the one that questioned him. He watched as the mans mouth frothed and he fell off of his horse, limply. The others gathered and charged, some of the found the trunk Arabella was hiding in "Arabella no!' he gasped, then some others pinned him down and cut his cheek. He kicked them and took a sword and killed the leader after getting free. The all continued to ravage at the trunk, Patch fought them off desperatly, Please Arabella, be okay!

Suddenly, the lid of the trunk was flung open and Arabella followed Patch's advice and stabbed the first thing she laid eyes on. It was a man's hand and he recoiled with a shout, holding his wounded hand. She jumped from the trunk to find a group of angry looking men all around her. She punched the next one that came at her, and slowly made her way to the horse, where her bow and her quiver were hanging. She knocked and arrow on the string and looked around to choose her target. She spotted one man who was lunging at Patch and let the arrow fly. It landed in the man's chest, and he stopped short.

Patch smiled thankfully at ARabella, "By the way nice punch" he commented. He fired an arrow at a man and it got his throat. "oops" Patch muttered. He made his way to Arabelle "You get my back i get yours" he said, hlet their soulders touch, and he stayed in position firing at anyone who came close behind Arabella.

Arabella smiled and pressed her shoulders against Patch's back. She reached back for another arrow and set it on the string, holding her arm back, ready to fire again if anyone came close. There weren't nearly as many men as there had been to begin with, but another launched himself at her and she sent the arrow on the fast track into his knee, making him keel over in pain. Quickly, she reached back and knocked another arrow on her string.

Serena sighed softly and looked at him before nodding. "I'm ready." she whispered, hugging KC for a moment. She rested her head against his chest as she sighed before pulling away, grabbing his hand and continuing to walk down the hallway, quietly. She was glad to have KC at her side now, since Aiden's loss was hard for her. She wouldn't have known how to get through this all without somebody at her side. She pulled KC close to her as they walked, releasing his hand and wrapping her arm around his waist, just holding him close as they walked.
