Sicarius grinned, revealing his wolf canines. "Now here's the shock that will surprise you all." he said quietly. "No. I'm not in a Creed. Not yours and not Templars. I'm a roaming Assassin. I'm hired to work occasionally for both of them if they have a complicated mission. I am no ones side and Rafiq knows that quite well. But he has hired me many times all the same." he spread his hands. "I am friends with him. Not close, but enough. He tells me about you two. And more. But I don't think your ready to know just about how much I know." he said, grinning like a fox that had just snared a rabbit in it's own trick. Then he put his hands down, careful to keep his numeral hidden from view. It had started glowing again. "I'm know as Trickster among the assassins. " He frowned sadly. "Not many like me, but I can always count on Rafiq to get me out of a tight spot."
~
She grimaced and looked away from Sicarius. He had become a Romaing Assassin. A rouge Assassin. There rare in this world and they are rarely seen. Or even exist for that matter. They were known to keep many secrets, but they were also known to be like Foxes. Tricksters. Sly and cunning and intelligent. But Sicarius is famous. He wasn't lying. And he was only famous because he always got his work done by doing it the hard, yet easy way. By becoming a close friend of the victim, he was able to gain entry to their secret and such. When he had what he wanted, he killed their target. It was..... different. Her numeral glowed a little brighter and she hid it between her knees.
~
Sicarius laughed. "Now here's the real question... Is what everything I told you, the truth?" He said quietly, a sly grin on his face. But deep inside his mind, he hid the fact that pain was lacing up his spine again. He listened in his mind as the beast roared and clawed at the chains, determined to get free.
~
She paused, his words flying over her head. Truth? She froze, realizing that what she had heard, might just had been rumors about him. You never really hear about a rouge assassin. This caused her to clench her teeth. Then she felt pain lacing up her spine and she relaxed, trying to control her beating heart. She took deep and slow breaths, trying to calm her heart down. it calmed, but her hand glowed brighter. "Sicarius....." She growled quietly.
~
"I know dear, just bear it." He said quietly, his gaze never leaving Ezio and Altair. His hand had stayed at his knife's sheath since he had walked into the room. The pain grew stronger and he felt his glowing hand spasm slightly.
~
She gritted her teeth as she felt her leg spasm. "Sicarius... I don't think this is a good time to just grin and bear it. I think this is a good time to leave and let it loose." She growled back. She stood up slowly, her leg almost refusing to respond. Her arm went limp by her side as its muscles froze. "Now!" She barked loudly. '
~
Sicarius jumped up and out of his chair. He rushed over to her and he grabbed her hand, feeling his neck muscles freeze. He grimaced and snarled. "Be back in a few hours." he growled at the two, his voice becoming slightly rough. They walked out into the rain just as his hand muscles locked in place, their hands stuck together. "This sucks." Sicarius growled as the first snapping of his bones began.
~
"Just grin and bear it." She snapped back, running into the woods, feeling her own muscles and bones snap. "This isn't going to be a joyful-" Her sentence was cut short as her jaw muscles clenched and she winced in pain. Both of their numerals were glowing brightly, creating a small and bright lantern.
