"Your majesties," Nick said, Bowing to both queens. The Avalon queen stood, saying she would give them some time alone. The young prince gave her a grateful smile, then bent down and kissed his mother's cheek. The Elyadon queen gave him a weak smile and remained seated, her eyes a bit cloudy. "I have a gift for you, Mother. Look," he said softly, pulling the dark velvet cloth off of the jewel he had brought. She smiled, still far away, but picked up the necklace anyhow. "Oh, it's beautiful, Nick my darling." she said, cooing. She kissed her son's forehead and traced the gems set in the silver.

Serena looked up at KC as he spoke to her and managed a small nod. "Yes. I suppose they will..." she replied, looking out of the windows they passed. She sighed softly and brushed some hair out of her face, trying to hide her sad feelings at the moment. Though the girl failed, and soon tears streamed down her cheeks again as her thoughts of Aiden kept repeating and repeating in her head.

"Rena," he cooed softly. The prince gently tugged her towards an alcove in the hall, giving them some privacy. "Rena," he repeated, stroking her cheek softly and brushing away her tears. The prince let her cry, and folded her into his arms, holding her close. There wasn't much he could do. He planted a soft kiss on the top of her head and closed his eyes, resting his head against hers.

Dimari jumped slightly,turning around."Tristan."She said,looking up at him with a cross look upon her face.She crossed her arms,"Didn't your mother tell you it was impolite to sneak upon people..Hmm?"She asked as she regained herself,dizzy from spinning and chasing.She traced a scar she had received playing with her brothers,and maybe a few of her soon to be in-laws.

He knew it might be awkward if they were caught being together, alone. But he doubted many would care after last night's tragedy. "I want to apologize. For last night." he spoke stiffly. It was amazing how quickly the prince could change his track of mind. "I must not have sounded too pleasant during our conversation, and I hope you'll forgive me." Tristan flicked his eyes to her hand, which traced a faint scar. He curiously stepped forward, asking, "Where did you get that from?"

Serena closed her eyes, holding Kaleb close. She sighed softly, trying to force back the tears. "I-I'm sorry." she said softly, feeling like she was bothering KC with her sadness. She opened her emerald eyes again and looked at him, more tears streaming down her cheeks.

Arabella smiled and followed him back over to the horses. She ran her hand down the mare's neck and sighed again, realizing that soon she would have to go back to the castle and be subjected to her parents rules again. "I like it better out here," she said softly, looking over at Patch. "I can be myself and I can be with you. I don't want to go back home."

Serena sighed softly and looked at him before nodding. "I'm ready." she whispered, hugging KC for a moment. She rested her head against his chest as she sighed before pulling away, grabbing his hand and continuing to walk down the hallway, quietly. She was glad to have KC at her side now, since Aiden's loss was hard for her. She wouldn't have known how to get through this all without somebody at her side. She pulled KC close to her as they walked, releasing his hand and wrapping her arm around his waist, just holding him close as they walked.
