[Sacred Sin]

Shade's icy blue eyes lit up with rage, something was very rare for his generally mellow and light personality. His fingers curled into tight fists, his nails biting into his palms, leaving crescent shaped indents. His jaw went rigid and it took him a moment to speak as he trembled, standing there.

"So, you'll just brush me off? I thought you wanted normal friends. So I did just that. I changed everything and now you say you don't like it! What the hell Fabe? Do you want me for who I am or what you think I should be?" His cold eyes bore into his best friend.

"And since when is it alright to go out to dinner with Van, who might I point out is a lesbian--just in case you've forgotten--, when you can't be around me because I'm just too gay and make you look bad!" Shade's velvety voice, now a little higher in range since his pitch always skyrocketed when he was angry, shook, shards of glass beneath his honey tone.

"You know what? Do whatever the hell you want Fabe. Go make your straight friends and get a girlfriend!" He hissed. "I should just stay away because I know it'll hurt me even more to be around you! Why I fell for you in the first place is such a mystery now!" He practically snarled, before his eyes widened and he clapped his slender hand over his mouth. He had been speaking very fast, but his heart sank when he figured that Fabe would probably still be able to understand what he said.

"Just forget about what I just said." He murmured, averting his eyes. His fists loosened and his shoulders slumped.

Van watched the fighting with a solemn expression, occasionally releasing a soft sigh. When Fabe asked her if she wanted to go to dinner with him, she shot him a sharp look. That had been a low blow to Shade, and Van knew that Fabe knew it too.

She was about to give both of them two very hard slaps to see if she could get their brains working again when she let out a little gasp when Shade's words registered. Then, a small smile curled the edges of her lips.

Fabian narrowed his pale eyes furiously at Shade as his friend yelled at him and he grit his teeth angrily. "I don't know! You're just so... So.." Fabian trailed off with a frustrated expression and then glared further with his pale peach coloured eyes and he frowned.

Fabian flinched slightly at Shade's high pitched yelling and he frowned sourly. "So!? I'm allowed to ask out who I want! You can't control me!" He snapped and crossed his arms across his chest, lightly brushing a crease out of his burgundy jumper moodily, feeling embarrassed at the scene him and Shade were creating.

Fabian's pale eyes widened as he heard Shade's next words and his mouth popped open. Fell for me? SHADE FELL FOR ME!? He screeched at himself in his head, his eyes still wide and he stared, shocked at Shade. "What?" He asked and raised his eyebrows incrudiously.

Fabian shook his head, how on earth could he forget what Shade had just said, he himself had, had a crush on Shade since they started being friends.

Cue turned his head once the new Shade appeared behind him and asked where Van was. He glared slightly shocked for a few seconds befor Shade left him. He shrugged his shoulders, "Well that was a different look!" he exclaimed. Well that fight him and his friend had must have really screwed Shade's mind up; though because he had only met this very day he didn't exactly know if costume changes for Shade was normal or not. Cue sighed, "Come on, let us walk" he suggested walking ahead of Mitchell to the tuckshop.

"Nothing," Shade mumbled, his cheeks flushing with the soft, innocent pink of an undeniable blush. He stared at the ground, fighting his embarrassment and utter horror at what he had said. He hadn't planned to tell Fabe, but his friend had made him snap. He stood there awkwardly, not sure what to do now. His feet felt glued to their spot on the floor and his heart was beating wildly, both from nerves and adrenaline. He cleared his throat softly, at a loss for words.

Fabian stared for another few seconds at Shade with the same shocked expression. "You..." He trailed off with a grimace, feeling very awkward and then took a step toward Shade and frowned slightly. "... Fell for me?" He added in a small voice, gulping slightly and then realized what Shade really said and blushed, embarrassed again.

Mitchell glanced at Cue with shock and then looked in the direction of which Shade had gone. "Emo look no jutsu" He exclaimed, making an odd refrence and then looked back at Cue, crossing his arms across his chest. He quickly followed Cue in a small jog until he caught up and let out a sigh.

Shade's smile was small, but he nodded briefly. "Yeah, for a while. You just never seemed to notice." He chuckled fondly, his voice going back to normal. His hand went up to his head and he tugged off the black hair. The wig came off stubbornly, exposing the true crimson-colored hair beneath it. His cheeks were still a bit flushed, but he couldn't help but give his two best friends a mischievous glance before he stuffed the wig into his backpack.

"I couldn't bring myself to dye my hair for fear of never being able to have the same crimson color that is my natural hair." Shade said lightly, shrugging a little.

Fabian frowned slightly at Shade as his friend pulled his wig off and Fabian's eyes brightened and he smiled as he saw the crimson of Shade's real hair. He put his hands behind his back lightly and scuffed his feet on the ground. "To tell you the truth, I've had a crush on you for ages" He admitted quietly under his breath, his cheeks flushing pink as he finally said the words, though he couldn't keep the smile off his face, he was glad Shadey still had his red hair. He liked having a sort of ranga friend.

Cue chuckled when Mitchell caught up with him, "What would you like? My shout today!" he said cheerfully. Cue seemed to be back to his old bright cheery self without the creepiness. He smiled, scruffing up Mitchell's hair like he use to do, "I'm going to have a hotdog if that's okay with you" he said. He thoughtfully looked around at the building surrounding him, he wondered where the next class he had to go to was. A small frown passed his face, "What is HPE? I have it next" he asked.

Mitchell smiled brightly as Cue said it was his shout cheerily. He let out a small squeak as his hair got messed up and he put his hands on his now messy black curls. "I want... A thing of hot chips please~! This gravy!" He exclaimed, he'd gotten a crazing for it while walking to the canteen, he cocked his head to one side, his dark eyes narrowing slightly as Cue asked what HPE was.

"I have no idea!" He exclaimed and shrugged his shoulders lightly. "What room is it in?" He added with a slightly puzzled expression.

Shade's lips parted in surprise, the white of his teeth becoming slightly exposed. His ice blue eyes widened and his hand froze where it lay in his hair, fingers poking through the crimson locks. It took a moment for him to register what his best friend had said, and then his heart began to jump wildly. He hadn't expected Fabe to ever say anything like that.

Before he knew it, a large crooked, very "Shade" grin split his features. Hesitantly, he sort of reached out his slender hand and cupped Fabe's cheek, then let it drop as his gaze shifted to the floor. "Sorry. My hand moved on it's own." He said, chuckling with a little humor. "I forgot that you didn't want to be gay, so I won't touch you." His voice was gentle, and soft, almost understanding.
