Crystal giggled at Alex and nodded. SHe took out a chocolate fudge cake and cut a slice for him "Try this, i experimented with it and made two.I shared the first one with the maids who loved it" she told him proudly. Crystal moved her hair back, which hung over her shoulder like dripping honey.

Patch smiled, he took out some sandwhiches and plates, "I did before, why stop now?" he chuckled. He handed her a plate with a sandwhich after he cut it in two. "Enjoy" he grinned,taking a bite of his. "Omnomnom" he laughed with his mouth full.

Arabella smiled and bit into the sandwich. She smiled at Patch and laughed along with him. Who would have known? she thought, looking around the bright clearing. Then a darker thought dawned on her. What if my parents found out I was sneaking out to meet him? she thought, her eyes growing a bit wider.

Serena smiled happily at KC, not able to describe her feelings at the moment. She rested her head on his chest and stood like that for a while. When she heard the voices of her brothers, the girl quickly kissed KC's cheek before seperating his arms from his tight - but very, very comfortabl - grip. She flew over to her brothers and hugged them tightly. "Thank you, guys." she replied. A big smile stood on her face, and she knew it wouldn't come off soon. Serena kept hugging her brothers, maybe making the hug too long and awkward, but she didnt really care. Releasing them after a moment, she smiled at Tristan. "I'm glad you still have your freedom."

Nick watched the happy couple drift off in the room, glad that his sister was finally in a better mood. She seemed completely whole now, as if she were actually beside you. She was no longer a pretty shadow. Hovering near the door, he gave them one last smile before turning out and heading back towards his guest room. There was a present that needed to be distributed to the queen.

Tristan smiled at his sister, a full grin on his face. "As am I." he said, untangling himself from his joyful sister. "Well, it's good to know you two are happy together. And two months! You hardly have time to prepare, but I suppose our mothers shall have the honor of planning out everything." He took a step back as if remembering something. "In fact, I should like to speak with them. I'll see you two later. Bye, Nick." the prince said on his way out.

The prince smiled at the scene before him. He watched Serena hug her brothers tightly, no doubt missing Aiden. He clasped his fiance's hand once she pulled away from the hugs and watched Tristan leave with a quick good bye. "So, what shall we do today? I suppose we have the whole day to ourselves. If you'd like to stay in, I understand, Rena." he added quickly, for Aiden.

Serena bit her lip as Tristan went, but only to Kaleb's question. She didnt really have any idea about what they could do. "Can we just hang out in the garden?" she asked after a while. Serena liked the garden after all. It was nice and peacefull. "Oh. And I have to get my spare dress out of my carriage. This thing is getting annoying." she added softly, referring to.the ball dress she was still wearing. She supposed her carriage was still at Avalon, though the girl had no idea where the driver could be. But that wasn't important right now.

After grabbing the present he had found for his mother the night before, Nick quickly grabbed what looked like a patch of velvet cloth and draped it over the silver necklace. It was curious how the women who gave it to him didn't require any payment. He shrugged and pushed the thought to the back of his mind. Nick swept down the corridor, not hurrying nor lollygagging. Yes, he was tired but he needed to give the gift to his mother before he forgot. Although he had a feeling he would never forget last night's events.

Tristan had already entered the Avalon queen's tearoom, where the two queens sat speaking quietly. They both looked up as the prince walked in, giving him soft smiles. His mother beckoned him forward and stood, placing a hand on his cheek. "Oh my dear," was a she said before closing her eyes. Tristan and the Queen of Avalon watched, concerned, as his mother stood still with her eyes closed.

"Mother, are you alright?" he asked, taking her hand from his cheek and placing it gently in both of his hands. His mother shook slightly, her pale face creasing into lines.

"I'm alright dearie, quite alright." she whispered feebly, as she opened her eyes. There was a dull look in her once bright irises. A faded look that Tristan recognized from Aiden when he had passed. Furrowing his brow, he gently sat his mother down and took a seat beside her.

"Your highness, shall I send for tea?" the Avalon queen asked, already motioning at a nearby servant. Tristan's mother nodded, beginning to look less weak.

"Mother, I came to thank you. Both of you." he said, his gaze flickering between the two queens. "I am sure Princess Aria is a wonderful woman, but I doubt the both of us are ready for marriage. I am sure you two managed to persuade our fathers?" The Avalon queen nodded softly. "Thank you," he said again.

Kaleb nodded, taking Serena's arm as they exited his room. "I don't suppose we'll need a chaperone?" he asked, a small smirk on his lips. Although her ball dress had lasted through the night and she still looked beautiful as ever, he could understand how the large skirts could be uncomfortable. "Shall we check the stables for your coachman?"

Dimari jumped off the swing,happy and carefree.She chased after some butterflies,her hair braided,swinging after her.She hummed another Irish song as she flew throught the courtyards her and her siblings had once played in.

KC kept glancing sideways as his bride-to-be. As beautiful as she was, he could tell she was still very upset about Aiden. He was as well, but he kept his cloudy feelings hidden. "I suppose our fathers will be announcing our engagement later this afternoon? They usually like to do things rather quickly." he said, breaking the silence. He enjoyed being in her company, but he wanted her to be happy.

After chatting with the queens about the weather for a brief moment, he stood and bid them farewell. They nodded and smiled properly at him, dismissing them and welcoming Nick into the room. Nick gave him a small smile before the older prince exited the doors.

Tristan stopped at a window that stretched from the ceiling to a few feet above the floor. The scene before him was colored with the green of the bushes in the courtyard and the pruned flowerbeds. He watched a young woman, whom he recognized as Princess Dimari flit around the carved hedges. A brief shadow passed over his face before he turned away from the window and stepped down a narrow back staircase. The stairs ended at a door, probably a servants' passage. He creaked the door open and exited the back of the palace, into the vegetable section of the gardens. Searching for the princess, Tristan found her in a certain courtyard that he remembered from his childhood days. When he was very young, he used to visit the royal Avalon children often with his siblings. They played dragons and knights and the girls danced and hummed songs. He silently entered the neat courtyard from behind the princess, watching her for a moment.

She seemed ignorant to the tragedy that had just passed the night before. The girl hummed a tune, something he knew to be of Irish culture. He stepped out of the shadows of a large bush, creeping towards the princess until he was just behind her.

"Princess Dimari," he said, the corners of his lips twitching upwards.
