((I understand! I know what you mean lol. I have a friends like that. My teachers also thought it would be funny to give me like 4 hours of homework. Ugh, can't wait until the end of school. I still have a month left >.< ))

Alfred didn't really say anything. Mostly from mental exhaustion, but he also felt that there was nothing else to say. He was just glad they made it outside alive, in one piece, and together. Alfred smiled as they finally reached the familiar villa. "Man, we're finally home..." He said, his palms still clammy. Smiled and opened the door for Arthur and helped him out, pulling him for a kiss and a hug.

((I only have a day and a half left, but one teacher gives us this huge reading thing that's due tomorrow and then the other one never stops giving us homework.
And she won't bring the cupcakes she promised. ;-;))

Arthur smiled when the familiar building came into view. "Finally..." he said softly, more to himself than Alfred. He felt himself relax, knowing that now he was safe and able to just do what he wanted. Speaking of that, I need a cupcake... All thoughts about pastries were pushed out of his head as he was pulled out of the car. The pale blond barely had time to register what was going on as Alfred pulled him into a hug, kissing him. The pale blond blinked before closing his eyes, looping his arms around the other's neck, and kissing back.

((I hate teachers like that.... That was like one of my teacher who bribed us into doing this extra homework assignment. She never did buy us donuts...))

Alfred felt truly happy for the first time in years. Happy he was alive, happy he actually found the road back to their asylum, happy he could actually drive, but, he was especially happy that he was wrapped around Arthur at that moment. It felt that nothing in the world could be better and the Earth around them melted away. "I love you..." he whispered as he hugged him tightly again.

Guess what? Publix. Wal-Mart. Win Dixie. I'm sure Target sells cupcakes too. I don't know. =_=))

Arthur smiled again, but this time it was because he was with the American. He rested his head against the other's chest, matching his breathing with his heartbeat. He forgot all about everything else — about how the police wanted to kill him, how the guards from the other asylum were probably trying to find him with every passing second, about how Matthew hated him, about almost killing the nerves in his hand earlier, about his and Alfred's stupid fights — because, in all honesty, nothing else mattered. "I love you, too."

"Ya bettag get used ta it than," I retorted, only gripping on tighter to the stick. I gritted down my teeth, pain riding up my left foot, red spots dancing infront of my vision. But I was too d*mn stubborn to let the stick that was hurting me so, go. Suddenly a plan sparked in my mind, although, it did involve me letting go.... "Hee-ya!" I let go of it, and instead of falling painfully backwards to the ground, I lashed forward, doing a sort of headbutt/charge into him. Even though I was quite a pounds lighter than Canada, the force and momentum of my movement, plus gravity, knocked both of us to the ground.

((I know! Its like, you don't have to put a it of effort into it.... It only takes ten minutes an $10 dollars to buy like, 20 cupcakes...))

Alfred smiled again. "Good. Let's get inside because it's getting hella cold." he said wrapping an arm around Arthur and leading him inside the house. "Huh. I wonder if anyone even knew we left." he smirked as they wound up in the kitchen. "I suppose you want a cupcake after that dog food they fed us..." he noted, nodding towards the fridge.

"Oof!" the Canadian grunted as Surda made a head-butt into his stomach, which did knocked the wind out of him, but he easily got up and smirked. "Got some nerve, shorty." He said as he brushed himself off and got up from underneath her. He was about to aim a another blow on her, but stopped. "Sh**. I totally forgot to feed Kuma.." he said, suddenly rembering.

((Exactly. If I don't get something resembling a cupcake tomorrow [which is my 'real' last day of school], I will be mad.
And if it's something like a miniature Tootsie Roll, I'll hate her.
dammit I just want my cupcakes, woman! >.> lol, reference))

Arthur smiled, not even caring if anyone noticed they were gone. "Someone might have. Though they probably only noticed the lack of cupcakes..." His eyes fell to the ground. And fighting, then making up. Ignoring the thought, he looked up as he saw them step into the kitchen. The pale blond smiled widely, feeling even safer there. He didn't know why he did, but he just did. Maybe it was something about the kitchen — that always seemed to have cupcakes somewhere — that felt like his safe haven. Or maybe it was because Alfred was there with him. Arthur nodded happily, half-skipping to the fridge. He opened it and pulled a cupcake out of it, smiling widely as he ate it.

Alfred chuckled. "Well, we're here now, an that's what counts." he said as he hugged him once more.

He smiled as he watched Arthur eat his cupcake. "Well, going to that hellhole made me realize how this hellhole isn't half bad..." he mused, still trying to shake of the feeling of the large guards running after them. He then thought for a moment. "Hey, Arthur. What do ya think they're going to do? I mean, technically we killed half the staff, but I didn't see them come after us. You think they're going to call the big guys?" he said. It seemed like as soon as he said it, it became an option. What if they called the FBI?

Arthur froze mid-chew, blue-and-purple eyes widening at the thought. Th-the FBI? Oh god, I'm going to die. They'll a-arrest me and...and k-kill me... He tried to say something — anything — but fear made him stay silent. He sank down to the floor, knees hugged to his chest, as the half-eaten cupcake fell out of his hand. He hated feeling like this, he hated acting like this. The pale blond felt as though he was a baby, like he was unable to deal with fear by himself. I don't want to die, Alfie. D-don't let me die...

"A-Arthur!" Crap, I forgot how sensitive he was.... he gulped as he saw the cupcake fall to the floor. He walked over and crouched down. "Come on Arthur, it's only a theory. I mean, who knows. It took the other asylum long enough to find us, the FBI would also have trouble tracking us down." he said trying to reassure him, but worry was laced in his voice. "We're home, Arthur.." he said pulling him in a hug. "I plan to keep my promises."
