Her hands began to shake a bit, and her heart pounded in her chest.

"Did you know the name rose comes from French, itself from Latin rosa, which was perhaps borrowed from Oscan, from Greek ρόδον rhodon?" Suddenly he blushed and rubbed his neck nervously. "Sorry, I tend to be such a nerd sometimes. I'm always upstairs reading or writing. Anyway lets go to my favorite spot out in the gardens;I'll lead the way." he said, walking out into the gardens.

"O-oh," Arabella stammered before turning bright pink. She swung down from her mare's saddle, her foot catching in one of the stirrups. She jumped a few times, trying to free her foot. As soon as it came loose, she crashed backwards into the hard packed ground. "Ow," she said rubbing the back of her head, as she sat up. She shook herself off and stood up, going to follow Patch.

Patch set the basket down and checked her head "Are you okay?" he asked. Satisfied he took the basket up and walked down a patch after tieing the horses to a post. He Found a nice clearing surrounding it, he tookout the items to make a picnic.
