"Ok, the longer you speak, the more I agree with myself that you are mad." Simon said, his eyes wide.

A smile broke onto Max's face. He looked silently at her. "How do you feel about becoming a bandit and creating a band of thieves to steal from the rich, the kingdom, and give to the poor and needy. Do you wish to live life as an outcast, to be hunted down by knights and soldiers? To protect those who cannot protect themselves?" He asked her.

Ella had darted out of the inn (?). The smell of the ale was starting to get to her. Grasping her dagger, the leather grip hot and sweaty from the tension, she ran into the alley where she usually slept.

Rose looked at him, stunned. "I- wait- I..." She stuttered, overwhelmed by his offer. Best to politely decline. She thought. "No thank you." She finished.

Simon gaped. Wait... what?!

Max frowned, raising his bow and arrow. "Well, too bad. Seems now that I've told you I'll have to kill you, unless you join. I can't have you two running around sharing my secret idea with everyone. It's a shame too, if you had joined I was prepared to make you my deputy." He readied himself to shoot, aiming for her neck. But he was waiting for her response first.
