((Sorry, I'll try not to do that in the future.))
September won't you bring me some rain again?
This sun is melting my skin,
And I would give you anything to feel something else
September falls away 'till I'm broken, I just hate the sound.
And I can feel the water changing me, it's changing me for good.
Bite down, hard. Bite down.

[No, you just need to look at it on a case by case situation. This time was fine, and I'm sure that you can judge wether or not to power play or not. I thought that it was better, in this situation, for you to powerplay.

Vertigo stepped forward, grabbing my wrist. "You have a bigger job than you'll ever know. So I want to say thank you, before you'll be able to accept my thanks." As I puzzled over what he had said, he took something out of his pocket. It had a menacingly sharp needle at the end. In one, smooth motion, the needle was embedded into the skin of my arm. Almost immediately the needle took it's toll. I felt all of my energy stream out of me, I started to fall. Vertigo caught me before my head hit the floor, and then lifted me up, carrying me away. He was running away from the castle, carrying me off to who-knows-where. He came to the garden wall and I expected him to slow down, but he didn't. He just kept on running.
At the last possible moment he jumped, clearing the wall with seemingly little effort. I gasped as he landed, involuntarily. He ran a little while longer, comming up to a house. He opened the door, and then shut it behind us. I started mapping out the house so that I would know how to escape as soon as I possibly could. He set me down in a chair and I leaned heavily against it, needing the support. "Welcome. Enjoy your days, they are numbered, Bell," he said.
I didn't have the energy to speak, so I didn't even try. I just stared him down to the point where most men would be uncomfortable. I hoped that he was really uncomfortable.

Vertigo had a smirk on his lips, clearly a sign that he was proud of himself. He had caught The Doppleganger, he was that much closer to breaking the curse that bound him to the moon, and he planned on getting away from the wreatched orab as soon as he could. Noticing Bell's intense gaze, Vertigo chuckled and tilted her chin up with a gentle hand, his eyes examining her's as he said,"Don't give me that look. It'll all be over before you know it." Vertigo drew his hand away then sat down on the coffe table infront of Bell, resting his chin on his hand with his elbow on his knee. He kept his icy blue eyes on the girl for a moment, then said in a soft voice,"We might as well get to know one another. What exactly where you doing at such an extravigant castle?" He was honestly curious, but business did such a girl have there? Not that she wasn't worthy, but it was simply that she wasn't some sort of freak. The castle was run by Vampires, it just seemed odd to have a human around. Maybe the Vampires were trying to get the Doppleganger too. Well, it was too late for that, because Vertigo had already suceeded in that. Soon, all Werewolves would be free, of of his "subjects" would thank him. He only thought of other Werewolves as subjects becuase none had the power to defeat him in any sort of contest, he was the strongest as far as he knew. Maybe that was conceeded, but that's kind of what Vertigo was. He was full of himself to a point. But he off-set it with random bouts of kindness, or perhapes a simple soft gesture. Others foudn him confusing and odd, but he undterstood himself. That happens when you live forever, you understand the world better. Not just the world, but youself too. How terrible it must be, to be new to the world. Such a dangerous place with such mysterys to learn. This girl. she must be so confused, and perhapes a bit scared, but what was Vertigo to do about that? Wasn't his fault that she was a human. But...still. He felt sorry for the young soul.

Vertigo lifted my chin, forcing to look up at him. I glared, my eyes boring into his. "Don't give me that look," he said. "It'll all be over before you know it." He drew his hand back, and stepped back, sitting down on the coffee table across from me. I looked away as he placed his chin in his hands, his elbow on his knee. "We might as well get to know one another," he said. I examined a beautiful, unlit, fireplace. "What exactly where you doing at such an extravigant castle?"
I continued to study the fireplace, study the portrait above the mantle. He wasn't going to get a word out of me. Never. I refused to speak. I just sat there, ignoring him. What could he do about it? Nothing. He couldn't force me to speak.

{Is it okay if I create another character and she has the Midnight Stone?}
Alexander Bane
Alec watched as horror filled Falla's face. Confusion clouded onto Alec's. Quite uncharacteristic for the young warlock. Amusement was the only thing he allowed to cover it. But seeing Falla so distressed over the fact that the young man was the head werewolf confused him. What as there to worry about? They were on castle grounds. Surely there would be guards watching the perimeter. What danger could there be? But when Falla took off running, Alec knew he was to follow her. If she was worried about the young woman's safety then there must be a reason. As Alec raced after her he tried to figure out what he was missing. What piece of the puzzle was gone? What would the werewolf want with a human girl? They were nearly useless to werewolves. And then that last piece of the puzzle fell into place. This was no regular human girl. She was the Doppelganger. The girl needed to break the curse. Cursing under his breath, Alec sped up. They had to catch the werewolf. If he got the girl it wouldn't be hard to get a vampire, the book, the stone or witch. Alec had even heard rumors that Vertigo already had the book in his possession. A book witches and warlocks declared rightfully theirs. But it had been missing for centuries. Alec watched as he caught up with Falla. As he passed her she cast a spell. Sending off a potrnum fox. Clever girl but it wouldn't be fast enough. Alex thought as he increased his speed even more. Passing by Falla, Alec began to cast his own spells. If they were going up against the werewolf then Alec planned on being properly armed. He cast spells for protections, speed, agility, and strength. When Alec reached the garden where they had been he was breathing heavily. It had been a longer run back then he had anticipated. Seeing no one, Alec cast a simple tracking spell. You couldn't track a specific person without something that held their essence, so instead, Alec had to settle for something else. Instead, Alec cast a spell to see what had gone where. Vampire trails would show red, werewolves yellow, humans pink, and witches/warlocks blue. The more recent the trail, the brighter the colour. Alec finished quickly and breathed a sigh of relief when colours came up all over the place. It was like a big ball of thread. It was a mess. Alec sorted through the different paths as fast as he could, discarding any blue or red paths. Making them vanish with an impatient wave of his hand. After what seemed like forever, Alec found the brightly coloured lines he was looking for. A soft pink for female humans and dirty yellow for werewolf males. The two lines were intertwined and going off separately from the large ball. Alec jogged quickly, following the two lines to the garden wall. When he reached it he let out a string of curses. He didn't have time to find a gate and it was probably a crime to make one. Alec didn't have werewolf attributes but he could certainly try. Backing up, Alec ran at the wall. Once he was close enough, Alec jumped up onto the wall. He grabbed the top, grunting when the rest of his body hit it with a slam. Alec pulled himself up and sat on the wall for a second, trying to see if he could see Falla.
