Joke stepped backwards a little, turning his head to see if he could go another way. He took small, slow steps backwards as he replied. "But.... Joke won't ever be happy. Nothing can make Joke happy any more." He said sadly, as he reached a small junction in the halls.

"Um......I think it used to be..uh...I don't know." Alex answered. She saw him look at the knife and became very defensive. She hid the knife under her blankets and tried to eat the food. She hadn't eaten food in so long her body tried to reject it.

"I think I can find something to make you happy," Dr. Clare said, matching his steps. Her gaze flickered down the other end of the hall, inwardly hoping that security made it's way quickly. "Would you stay so that I may try?"

Ezra looked at Alex calmly, scratching at the stubble on his chin. "You don't know? You must have something you love to eat," Ezra pressed on, keeping careful not to follow the progress of the knife with his eyes.

Joke was running out of things to say and he took one more step backwards before replying. "Only Sarah can make Joke happy again." He said, before darting down the next hallway, running with no idea where the exit was.

((By the way, Sarah was the name of the girlfriend he killed ^^))

"I don't remember. I usually only remember my name. It's the voices. They tell me all sorts of things and I never know whats true or not. It's an okay way to live but that's why I always try to kill myself. That and no one loves me." Alex said simply. It was a fact she had come to accept and always thought it would be true.

[Iilyda]

"Security!" Dr. Clare shouted, but no one seemed to have arrived yet. She hurried after the boy, running through the halls after him.

Ezra looked at Alex sadly. "I love you," he told her, forgetting to blush. "Well, I care for you. How do you like eggs and toast? Do you like that?" he asked her.

Joke panicked as he heard the woman shout. He couldn't bear to face more people. He ran, his long legs carrying him down the halls as he covered distances quickly. He turned many corners, unsure of where they led to, but it didn't matter as long as he could get out.

Alex looked at him. She processed his words and sighed. She had always wanted a boyfriend but no one loved her so she always gave up. She still didn't think he would be it. She ate some of the food and wrinkled her nose. "It's cold."

"Hello?! Anyone?!"

Fay gasped in shock when she heard the sound, turning to Lily in fear. Oh no. The monster behind the door knew they were going to capture it! It was coming to get them! "Lily, what now? What do we do now? What?" She shuffled her feet uneasily, tugging at her hair in a moment of panic.

Get them. What're you waiting for, Fay? Lily looked at the door determinedly, nodding to Fay. Fay nodded back. This was it.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!" She let out a huge roar in the 'monster's' face as she unlocked the door, flinging it open.

Scarlett had grabbed the door knob again, trying without any success to pull the door open. She sighed angrily, about to release her hand when the door flew open, throwing her off balance and causing her to stumble backwards. That was not the end of her surprise though, as an impressive roar exploded from just outside the room. The woman placed a hand on her chest, trying to calm her now rapidly beating heart. "Oh, Oh...It's you, Fay." She eyed the younger girl, and brought her arms across her chest. "You're quite a ways away from where you're supposed to be." They were in the halls of the altered patients, Fay had strayed quite a bit. Scarlett again, had heard of this girl but as she didn't work with her type she'd only met her briefly before. "Well, you saved me. I was locked in there." She told her, stepping out of the room, leaving the door open behind her. "I can take you back now. I need to look for someone who left her room, like you have." Her voice wasn't as sharp as it could have been, her harsh tones would be saved for Siona. With a quick press of a button buried in her pocket she notified the others of the patients escape and then reached a hand out to Fay. "Are you ready to go back now?"

Siona was making her way to the doors. She was running, determined to get out.
