The Village (Accepting!)

Isabelle gave a windy laugh and continued on, neither replying to what Lizza or Adondai had said. Entering the village, which wasn't much of a wonder, she strolled down. She made sure to remember each of the houses she passed by, to get a feel of the 'blueprint' of the land. She tucked her hair behind her ears and continued on. She wondered where she would stay for the night. Then again, sleeping in a tree would be acceptable as well.

Martino Mouse

Martino watched the rivalry continue between Adonai and Isabella, apparently today was the day for all visitors alike. He sighed, looking to Lizza gratefully.
"Oh please do.."
He replied warmly,
"Though I must warn you I am but a passing traveler.."
The mouse told the girl clearly, though he was curious by the strange dream that brought him, detriment to discover his destiny, Martino knew that if his vision was a dead end he'd go on.

Emiko lifted the deer up, relying on the strength that came from being a kitsune. Her ear twitched as she began to walk back towards the village.
*A While Later*
Emiko not stood outside her little home with the skinned deer. She silently examined her work, trying to decide if she wanted to sell the meat at some human settlement or keep it for herself. She already had plans for the skin but the meat was another story. If she kept it she could disperse it among the members of the village but... if she sold it she could get a few coins for some type of silk. The only problem was in order to sell she had to go into the world of humans.. facing humans.

Lizza smiled. "It's not usually this eventful around here." She said, then started to show Marty around. First the farm, which was only a few small fields and a barn, then to the houses around the village. Most of them were only one room log cabins, but they kept the rain out. "Most of these are empty." Lizza said to Marty. "You can stay in any of them." She continued on and showed him the larger building that had stoves and tables in it, and then a fire pit outside. "That's pretty much it." She said with a smile. "There's a graveyard up that way." She pointed to the forest, then turned back to face Martino.

Martino Mouse

It wasn't the richest of realms but neither was it the lowest of dirt. Rather it was close knitted humbling community amongst unique creatures who lived in peace with one another. Martino smiled at the thought, such clear serenity, and yet. The mouse sighed, realizing that peace wasn't satisfying his constant urge to live his fate. Martino wanted to do achieve, progress, fulfill his destiny in the means of action, heroism, but throughout the months of traveling from village to village, reluctantly the young mouse began to wonder whether or not it was the will of God for this to be. Perhaps a humbling village such as this community was his destiny. To live out his days in peace among friends? It didn't seem to be in his blood. His father, and brother died for a heroic cause. Couldn't he find that? To live and die for justice? He turned to Lizza, realizing the length of the pause that passed between them.
"Thank you again dear friend.."
He replied with sincere gratitude. The girl was anything but helpful along this strange journey, and he appreciated her kindness.
"There was one question I wanted to ask of you before retiring.."
"I had a dream that someone lead me to this village.. you wouldn't happen to know of him would you?"

Lizza was silent before Martino spoke, not really minding the long silence. She listened to Martino, and then responded with, "There is someone, though he no longer lives in the village, he travels around, but he can travel in dreams." She couldn't think of anyone else that fitted the description. Though, he hadn't been to the village in quite a long time. For a moment, she wondered if he was even still traveling, or if he was infact still alive.
"He might have been the one who led you to the village." It didn't seem likely to her that anyone else could be doing it, she wasn't aware of anyone else who had lived in the village in all it's time who could travel in dreams. Then again, she didn't know everything about everyone, and she didn't try to pry.

Martino nodded. He was curious to know more about this traveler, but his questions could wait, all the mouse could ask now was a suitable rest from the long and tiring days journey, and he was sure that Lizza had other matters to attend to.
