Melonni Featherboad|19|Princess of Marksburg|
I hear a knock at my door and lift my head off of my goose-feather pillow as I listen, it doesn't sound like Marica's sharp, three beat knock, it's softer and longer. I roll off of my bed and walk over to the door, gribbing the handle and pulling it open. I peer around the edge of the door to see who has come. A small smile plays on my lips when I see that it is Wren. "Come in, Wren." I say, my tone light and cheerful. I open the door wider allowing her entrance into my chambers.

Bravery is one of the most important things to me. It has been for quite a long time now. I always believed that if people were not brave then nothing would be done to make the world the place that it is. Think about that for a nanosecond. Courage and bravery are what shaped the society. If people had not been brave enough to step out on a limb, then we would have no heroes. No police men. No firefighters. No soldiers. Nothing. We would be a world without hope. And when there is nothing to hope for then what is there? So be brave. Please, please, please, don't tuck yourself away in a dusty cob-webbed corner and sit on a three-legged stool staring out your window and fantasizing about the things you could do. Do them. Be courageous, be bold, be brave.

(Thanks! I love yours too! Especially the quote!)
Wren listened to the sound of a hand on the door knob. As the door opened she smiled softly. "Hello." She liked the way Melonni was was kinder than most royals. She always felt happier after being near her. When stepped carefully into the room, "Thank you!"

Wren smiled. "Thank you, you don't have too." She did not want Melonni to feel obligated to anything for her. Wren was raised in the castle to work. "Marica is sick today. The doctor seems to think she has a lung infection, but he said she would be better in a few days." Wren had been appointed to fill in for Marica and truthfully, she found it a better job than working in the hot kitchen.
