Nathan sighed, again, for what seemed the billionth time in the past couple of minutes. He looked at the girl and poked her arm. "Can I sit there?" He mouthed pointing at the seat beside her. He scratched his chin with his free hand.

Vesta looked around and then noticed a girl pointing, she knew she was an elf by instant. She reached her mind out, 'Atra esterni ono thelduin' she said into her mind.

Tilting her head to the side for a moment, she tried to figure out what he had said, since she wasn't great at reading lips. After a second, Bay nodded. "Sure," she mouth back and picked up her miniature phoenix from the seat he intended to sit in and placed her on her shoulder.

Nathan grinned and scootched over, "Hi" he whispered, trying not to cough at the scent of dog. He got used to it in a moment and was completely fine afterwards. He smiled at the little phoenix, and reached his mind out to it, 'Fethrblaka, eka weohnata néiat haina ono. Blaka eom let lam.'((Bird, I will not harm you. Flap to my hand.)) He called to it through his mind.

Charger gave a muted screech and fluttered to his hand and landed, making sure not to singe his skin with her flames. Bay grinned, something she barely ever did, and chuckled, "She must like you. I'm Bayside, and that's Charger," then she lifted up her right hand, "this is Moraq." Talking was never one of her favorite things to do, but she was glad to make at least one friend at this school.
