-Kai-
Kai grinned back at Luca as the class ended. "Later," he said as the boy left. He helped the Professor pack away what was left out then went to the Great Hall for a quick snack. He reached it and found that still, the only sibling of his there, was Stellar. She glanced over at him then turned back to her magazine, desipte Kai offering a polite smile. He sighed, knowing it was useless to try and be nice to Stellar, she didn't acknowledge anyone unless they had something she wanted or could get it.
He sat down at the Gryffindor table, wondering if Emily was alright. He hadn't seen her since dinner yesterday, and he hadn't heard about her from anyone apart from Luca. Deciding that it probably didn't matter, he ate what he could and then went up to the Gryffindor common room and grabbed more of his things for the next couple of classes. He had Charms with Emily next, so if he didn't see her then, then he'd start getting worried.
-Stellar-
The lesson finished quickly and Stellar had her earring back in by the time she ran back up to the castle. She had to run because Ally was right behind her. The girl that wouldn't shut up didn't give in so easily, so when Stellar slowed to a breathless halt she stood right behind her then said quietly in Stellar's ear, "You're it." Then poked her in the back and ran off. Stellar glared after her but let out a sigh of relief that she'd gone. She stood up straight and walked to the castle, ready to eat and read some more about the magazine. It sucked that she wasn't allowed mufti apart from when they didn't have school, and even then...
She clenched her fist tightly around her satchel bag and moved slightly quicker, making it to the Great Hall and sitting down just before Kai reached it. She dismissively ignored him and continued reading, noting the newest hair-styles and accesories that she just might be allowed to wear around. She flicked her head to the side so her hair got out of her face, but it slid back. Grumpily, she pulled a hair-tie out of her bag and tied it back into a high ponytail, leaving two smaller bits to hang down beside her face. She put her 'zine away with five minutes to spare and headed off to Transfiguration, possibly one of the most hated subjects she had.
-Emily-
She started as Professor Marquess announced that the class could go two minutes early. She yawned, stretched, then put her things in her bag and hurried down the hundreds of stairs then ran down a few corridors, before hiking up a tonne more stairs. By the time she reached the door to the Ravenclaw common room, she was puffed, she almost forgot the fact the door spoke.
"Two fathers and two sons each went fishing. They all caught a fish each. None of them threw away any, but at the end they only had three, how is this possible?"
Emily bent down and breathed for a few seconds, thinking. Two fathers and two sons... well, a grandfather is a father of his son and the son's son, so...
"Because," Emily replied, straightening up. "There was a grandfather, a father and a son."
The door opened before her and she happily jumped inside. She seemed to be the only one there. She walked up to her dorm and brushed her hair and applied a small amount of mascara and eyeliner and didn't even bother with lipstick, just putting on a thin sliver of lip-gloss. She straightened her clothing and checked in the mirror. She felt a lot better.
When she went into the common room again, there were a few people. She checked the time and decided to get started on some of the homework Professor Marquess had set while the star names were still fresh in mind.
She chose a comfortable, squishy chair close to the fire place and started working.
