Raisa was born to two purebloods, just as most of the Hogwarts students are, on March 17th. She is the last of her family to be at Hogwarts, much to her parents excitement due to the current state of the school. She has one older sister and one older brother. However, she is different than her one sister and parents by which she is just like her brother Daren. They are the only ones of the family to not be put into Ravenclaw due to their daring and upfront, but down-to-earth personalities. She takes pride in herself for being put into a house such as Gryffindor even if it disappointed her parents at first.

Raisa is your typical Gryffindor in a sense, but has slightly different qualities. She's down-to-earth and she loves to talk, she's overall a friendly girl. However, she's stubborn, she enjoys voicing her opinion and despises when others put her down without a second thought. She fights for what she believes in even if others don't. She's a prankster, anything to get a laugh out of someone or just to toy with them, it gives her the most amusement. She can't stand to see someone depressed or even act as though they are, it irks her and if she knows you're just trying to have a pity party it angers her. Her short temper is known to get her stuck in some situations but she keeps going, it hasn't stopped her yet. She's a mish mash of personality, but she goes on her instinct and stands up for what's right even in the face of danger which is what she believes got her into the house.

An open love for danger, she doesn't like to be the one that has to sit back and watch others have fun and she looks for that in others. Plus, a willingness to comply with her hot-headedness helps as well.

When someone whines or chickens out of something, she can't stand a coward and wouldn't let herself be one so she avoids those people at all times.



Raisa is five foot five and weighs in around 130 pounds. She has a lithe physique and prides herself for not being the weakest one in the bunch or the slowest.

Raisa has dark, chocolate brown eyes.

She has light blonde hair, that hangs to the left of her face. She doesn't do anything fancy to it so it's either left down or put up into a bun.

Casual for the most part, she's not much on dressing up.

Her mum's a muggle and her dad's a wizard, making her a half-blood. Her mum encourages Elly to embrace her muggle side, so she watches tv, listen to muggle music, talks on the phone, etc. Her dad though also likes to keep her informed as to the goings-on in the wizard world, so he often takes her to Quidditch matches and she rode her first broom when she was three. Mr John Marvy likes to take the family to Quidditch matches, because it's something in the magical world that the whole family can do together and enjoy. Mrs. Alice Marvy has discovered a passion for them and tried to share her love of rugby in return. John and Elly have never liked it. Elly spent her first year at Beaubatons, because her mum went to a girls' only boarding school, but she didn't like the teachers so she transfered to Hogwarts; her dad's old school.

Elly is bright and sunny under normal circumstances but since everything went downhill with Voldemort she's becoming more serious. She's a hates homework, but get's it done using scedules. She loves singing and is very fond of muggle musicals. Elly has a very logical way of problem solving and tends to approach things from different angles to find the right answer. If atacked all of the practical spells tend to go out of her head, so she wishes she could be a part of something like the DA two years ago, which she heard about afterwards from some of the older students. She laughs at dad jokes (which is a good thin, because her dad tells a lot of them) and those long-winded jokes that go on forever. She loves to read and is a bit disappointed by that lack of magical fantasy books (probably because all the mythical creatures are portrayed as fact), so she sticks to muggle books. Her favourite genres are fantasy and mystery.

Those people that keep arguing even when they know they're wrong, couples going at it in public, picking on people weaker than yourself, repetition (her friends find repeatedly asking 'why?' brings expecially amusing results), small yappy dogs, unfairness, (I will probably add more later).

Playing with her hands, eg: tapping her fingers, clicking her pen, fiddling with her hair, etc.

Straight

Taller than her, funny, smiles a lot, reads, adventurous, outside the box, holds conversation, good hair.

No sense of humour, too sensible, too rule-follow-y, boring, shallow, bad hair.

Jeans or shorts mostly in public; trackpants, ugg boots and a hoodie for when she's just chilling; various dresses for anything formal. She doesn't like long-sleeved t-shirts and loves woollen things.

Ravenclaw

Maple, unicorn hair, eleven inches, firm

Cat named Mirren, but who will respond to Mira, Fluffy, Kitty and Lunatic (don't ask).

Smart, studies hard, listens to people, is very practical, reads a lot, knows a lot of spells.

Can't function well under pressure, over-analyses everything, gets frustrated easily.

Is the Keeper on the Ravenclaw team, her dad used to play chaser.

If Elly's birthday is September 2nd, she would have received her letter the next year and turned twelve on her second day. See? ]]
