Cassie looked up into his mesmerizing blue eyes. "Mad? No, I'm not mad." She picked it up and placed it back in his hand. "Take it. Seriously." She smiled at him. "And don't leave unless you want to." Though she probably wouldn't admit it if asked, Cassie felt somewhat drawn to the boy that sat beside her in the coffee shop. She had the urge to cuddle up to him but that would be crazy. She'd just met the guy for crying out loud! Instead, she brushed the strand of loose hair back behind her ear again.

♦ Jayden Woods • 19 • Shapeshifter : Red Fox • Male ♦

Jayden had gone through most of the shots when someone walked in the studio. An older woman, about 35-40. After she glanced around at his set up, she walked up to him at the counter. She introduced herself as Portia and asked about what he charged for family portraits and the like. Jayden went over the basic prices and details about the shoot with her and they agreed on a time for her to come in with some of her family the next day. After shaking Jayden's hand, Portia left the studio. Jayden glanced up at the clock. It was close to 6:15. About and hour and fifteen minutes left of my uneventful work day. He finished going through the flower photos, finding only two that he considered to be close enough to perfection for people to have an actual interest in. He closed the windows on his computer and looked around the room with a somewhat-bored sigh.

Chase swam in the ocean for a little while longer before walking out onto the beach again. He shook out his long black hair and headed over to where he'd dropped his stuff. Kicking his phone aside, he picked up his towel and dried himself off as best he could. He slung it over his shoulder and grabbed his phone. He walked through the sand to his patio and back inside through the back door. Taking the steps two at a time, Chase headed back to his room. He tossed his phone on the desk and the dirty beach towel in a hamper. Grabbing a towel that wasn't covered in sand, he walked out into the hall and into the bathroom. He took of his swim trunks and stepped in the shower to get the salty water from his hair.

"I am Mike, nice to meet you. Some people call me mickey" he introduced himself and chuckled, Danny was probably right "Yeah, I guess they arent tasty. Human-animal meat must be awful" he said and looked curiously at the girl when she came. She was with Danny earlier but she didnt change into anything. Was she just a normal human? He moved closer to Damny "Is she a shapeshifter too?" he whispered to boy and smiled lightly at the girl. It wasnt easy to get his thrust if you arent a shapeshifter, he was sure every human or most of them are hunters.

"Whatever. Do what you want. I'm leaving. And yes,I am above using the front door if your above being on time." She stood and walked across the room in a few strides. She flung open the door and slammed it behind her again. No one was looking so she jumped up on the raining and jumped into the sky, changing forms in midair. She flew towards the woods to cool off.

Spencer sighed and put his head in his hands. He could never do anything right when his sister was involved. Sometimes he was jealous of her. She almost never went to school, didn't have a job and lived in a loft. While he on the other hand went to school and had a job and only had a run down apartment. Life just wasn't fair.

Xavier walked aimlessly through the town, his jaw clenched in irritation. He had just gotten through his shift at a local restaurant where his boss had recently fired him. She hadn't bothered to tell him sooner, no, she waited until he was done working. He had gotten there early and worked a total of eight hours, yet they still had the nerve to fire him over a slight disagreement he had with a customer. Xavier took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. He knew he needed another job soon so that he could pay the next months bills, since his father made it clear in the past that he wasn't going to. He told himself not to worry about it for now, and held back a yawn as the weariness from working so long caught up with him.

Katherine stirred lightly against the hard metal of one of the benches in the strip mall. The seats quickly became uncomfortable after sitting on them for so long. A sketch book was placed over her lap and a pencil spun around her fingers without faltering. She often came to the mall for inspiration, and currently had her eyes fixated upon a bouquet of flowers inside one of the stores. Well, it looked like more of a studio, now that she thought about it. A small sigh escaped her lips as a women briefly blocked her view of the flowers, and she brushed back a few loose strands of her hair.

Brandon smiled at her an took the paper,shoving it into his pocket.He put his arm on her shoulder and pulled her closer to him for a second then let her go.He liked this girl already
even though he JUST met her.He looked at her face."yor cute"he said,his smile growing wider

Cassie smiled and blushed, something she hadn't done in a long time. She was normally too cocky and confident to have any reason to blush. "Oh, um.. Thanks." What the hell is wrong with me? Why am I acting so.. so.. nervous? She tried to pull it together and be her normal self. She brought up a hand and ruffled his hair. "You're pretty cute yourself." Cassie grinned poked his nose. "I like your hair. And you're eyes. They're somewhat.. entrancing. Did ya know that?" She popped her gum again and looked around the shop. "You're lucky it's a slow day by the way. I could never get away with slacking off of my job this long on a normal day." She laughed and brushed that annoying strand of hair behind her ear yet again.

Jayden tapped his fingers against the counter impatiently. Though the money in his type of business was good, it was usual pretty slow. And today especially was such a slow day, he could just close up shop right now. But if he randomly closed up early, that wouldn't make for good business in the future if someone did happen to stop by before 7: 30. They'd see the hours and then see the closed sign and be confused and then just leave and not come back. That's how it works, right? Naw, better to just wait it out. He flicked through some pictures on his digital camera that he'd taken throughout the week to entertain himself.

Chase stood in the shower for a couple minutes longer than necessary after he'd washed his hair. The water flow relaxed him. Eventually, he turned off the water and stepped out onto the bathroom rug. He grabbed his towel and dried himself off as he crossed the hallway to his bedroom. He tossed it across the bed and picked up the clothes he'd been wearing before he went to the beach. Chase redressed in those and went downstairs to the kitchen. He poked through the pantry and the fridge, trying to find some food.

Megan sat on the edge of the pier gazing at the scenery. She watched as the larger waves rolled in and turned into smaller waves as the reached the sandy beach. She watched the seagulls circling overhead, looking for someone who may have dropped some food for them to snatch up. She gave a contented sigh and kicked her legs back and forth through the air.

Riley went back into town.She wanted to talk to jayden again.she walked out onto the street and then to them mall.She remembered his saying something about photography.She opened the doors to the mall and walked in.She had to look for a photography place.She finally found it and walked in,she almost ran up to jayden when she saw him."hey!" she said waving.

Brandon smiled at her "really."he said with a light smirk on his face "i never knew that"he said truthfully.The strand of hair that seemed to be annoying cassie fell once again.He swept it away before she could even think.His fingers lightly brushed her face as he did so.He looked into her eyes and smiled at her."your not just cute...your beautiful" He said smiling at her still.He put his hand lightly on her neck and brushed her jaw-bone with his thumb.

Cassie froze in surprise, heat rising to her cheeks as she blushed again. Beautiful? She leaned into his hand at his touch and laughed lightly, once again trying to regain her normal self but not doing so hot this time. "I.. I bet you say that to all the girls, right?" She smiled at him and found herself caught in that wonderful blue gaze.

Jayden looked up from his camera as Riley entered his studio and smiled. "Hey there." He turned the camera off and set it on the counter. He hopped off his stool and closed the gap between them. "I thought you said I wouldn't see ya around unless it was in the forest. Change your mind about that?" He laughed. "What did you mean by that anyway? Unless you're an animal, you kinda have to be in town to survive. And you aren't an animal." Yeah, I'm the animal here. Wait.. Could she be..? Jayden shook away the thought and glanced at the clock. Almost 6:30. Time was going by agonizingly slow.

Karou flew through the trees and changed form seconds before she touched down. She took off her shoes and socks and rolled up her jeans. Sitting on the bank she let her feet float in the cool water. She hummed and tune, some classical song she had heard earlier. She layed down on some moss, her feet still in the water and watched the sky longingly.

(sorry I didn't post for spencer this time. Also sorry my posts are not pretty, I post from my iPad so it's really difficult to make them look good.)
