Dragonriders of Pern (Semi-literate roleplay) NEEDS MEMBERS!

((I am going around now, and telling everyone in my roleplays that I will be on very little (if at all) all of next week until Friday. My reason for this is simple: I have band camp, from 8 in the morning until 10 at night, which leaves me very little time. Chances are I will only be able to do administrative things in my roleplays, but even that is unlikely. I will also have it in my signature. I will be posting this message on all of the roleplays I have joined.

In addition to my limited time on next week, I will also be completely gone (not even tiny visits) for all of July 1-3. We are going camping for my birthday, and where we are going there is no internet (or cell phone service, or even a landline), so I won't be able to get on period. We will be driving to this location on June 30th, and I don't know if I will be able to get on during the drive or not (since I will have friends with me, and again, spotty cell phone service). Chances are towards not getting on, but there is also a chance I will be able to make it for administrative things (on the roleplays I own). We will be driving back on the fourth, so there will be the same situation there. Chances are I will be able to get on in the evening after we return on the fourth.

You don't worry about starting without me/continuing on without me, as long as you are willing to give me a recap when I get back. Don't kill my characters/ do anything dramatic to them while I am gone, please and thank you.

"Oh, aren't you being harsh? It gives people a little glimpse of what it's like to have a dragon." Merlinia pointed out. Then she sighed and shook her head. "They're fine; just wandering around and causing trouble." she complained, though her tone was affectionate. "I think they're outside currently." she added.

"I don't think I'm being harsh, they go around spying on what everyone is doing. One needs their privacy on occasion. Either way I don't think it's appropriate for children to go around having them, they're too young for the responsibility, that's why they don't go to Impressions until they are fully ready for it." Jonnan said, her speach was short and choppy, a clear sign that she was annoyed. "At least Terra and Fauvrin sound like they are doing well. After all, being outside is a good thing for kids. Keeps them out of the areas where they can cause the most trouble." She smiled at that, remembering her own youth. Growing up in a hold was very different than growing up here.

Lav'al is known by his peers to be a man of few words. To the members of his wing and those who have known him for a long time his small actions and few words speek volumes to what he is thinking or feeling, but to others he can be hard to understand. After the death of his Weyrmate, Lav'al became even more withdrawn. However, beneth the tough shell is a passionate and carring individual who just lacks the confidance to speek his mind and loves his siblings more than anything.Lav'al's favorite pastime is watching the dawn sisiters with his dragon Zixeth, but he also especialy enjoys when his wing performs drills.
History
Lav'al was born in Benden crafthall. His father was a large man by the name of Tenen and his mother was named Kita. However, Kita died in childbirth when she had his youngest sisiter. He has one older brother and two younger sisters. The brother's name is Caren and is currently a journyman Weaver, and his two sisters are named Litea and Bea (Beatricia) Litea is apprenticed at Harper hall and Bea still lives with thier father. When he was chosen on search his family was overjoyed that there might be a rider in the family. His youngest sibling Bea gave him a stone she had strung on string, and he wears it every day. Three moths ago Lav'an's Weyrmate died in a training accident when some younger dragons were learning to flame. He still remembers Demith's cry as he vanished between, Cla'ren still strapped in the smoaking saddel.

Where her rider is reserved Zixeth is brash. When Lav'al is quiet she is loud. Zixieth is the night to his day, and yet niether could imagine life without the other. Zixieth is vain and self centered. She likes to be looked at, much to the embarisment of her rider.

Intro Post

Lav'al sat firmly and tall in his green's saddel today a group of young riders were learning to flame, and it was a beautiful day at Benden Weyr. Down on the sands stood Cla'ren and Demith demonstrating the finer points of chewing firestone to the next generation. Demith soon was beathing a swath of flame wich scorched the surounding landscape. The Weyrlings soon were feeding thier dragons firestone for the first time. Every few seconds a tounge of flame would leap out from the jaws of one of the assembled dragons, pride evadent on thier rider's face. It was when they moved to the air one month later things would go oh so terribly wrong.

Litea is an "impulsive do-gooder". The phrase is a term she came up with to describe how she manages to be such a good person and yet get into so much trouble. For instance, she tends to leap to the defence of the little man far more often than is recomended. This often results in a black eye or a bloody nose. It's this base sense of possotive morals that makes her such an amazing person to be friends with. Once she accepts you as one of her friends, not even an angry dragon would stop her from leaping to your defence.
History
Her Papa Tenen, "Big Bro 1 and 2", and Beatricia make up Litea's happy family. And although Big Bro 2 is a dragon rider and member of Benden Wyre, she will never stop calling him that. She doesn't remember her mother, mostly because the was three when she died, but she believes that Kita was a kind and nice lady. When the other children made fun of her and her sister because of the fact they didn't have a mum, she would leap to her own defence, and actualy gave them a thorough thrashing. Despite the tough girl additiude it was discovered she possessed a beautiful voice and was apprenticed to the harper hall two years ago. It was at about that time that she was given her two fire lizard eggs, and loves her babies to pieces.

Intro Post

Litea paused at the door to the practice room she was planning on using. Looking around she noticed there was a stunning lack of firelizard flitting through the air. Letting out a huff she walked back outside to find at least one of the little devils. Imagine her suprise when she saw both of her babies gathering the pages of the music she had dropped. Not Devils then. Angels. Litea ran over and collected the packet giving both lizards an affectionate kiss on the forhead before darting back inside. The trio set up in the small practice room and Litea set to work memorizing the aria asigned to her for the day.

((Love the characters, but this sort of died a while ago... (sorry) If you'd be interested in a 1x1 with a similar setup/plot (and maybe even the same characters), I'd love to do one though, just send me a PM. Should imagination post I see no reason not to start this up again, but otherwise, I'm pretty sure it isn't going anywhere. Anyways, sorry if you were hoping for a group roleplay, and I really do hope you're up for a 1x1, since I would definetly accept both those characters here if this were still going.))

(I kinda figured this might be dead, but I've wanted to be a member of a pern roleplay for the longest time now, and when I saw this one I forgot to check weather it was still alive or not. I've never actualy participated in a 1X1 roleplay before, but I'd be happy to try.)
