The Riders of dragons (Open!)

Forest just nodded. "A lot more than last year" Bane said. "But I'm not complaining. I like the idea of being a rider" he said.Forest, still not very talkative around strangers, went back to looking at her egg. Every little detail on the egg, color or hot cold or hot it was, just pointed even more to fire dragon.

"I do to..." I just hope my dad can get on without us. she said, the unspoken words ringing in her ears. "Do you know what kind of dragon you guys have? Other than her, as its pretty obviously air." Ashia said, motioning to the other girl.

Era began to examine Jaye's egg. "It does seem to be water, but could be air." She thought out loud. Era gasped. "I know! Let's go to the water shrine elders. They could tell us what kind both your egg are." Aisha, she better not fall for Bane..

"Not sure about mine" Bane said. "but I can't wait for the surprise when I find out what it is when it hatches" Bane said happily. "Touch my egg and tell me" Forest said. "No, don't. Its fire. I can feel the heat from here" Bane said. Forest just shrugged and hugged her egg with her arms.

[Miceeni]

Aww, Bane's so cute when he's happy! "So you want to keep your dragons breed a surprise?"

"The chances of that are astronomical. Its rare to get one air egg, let alone two." Jaye said, looking down at his light blue egg; it was so light that it was almost white.
"I want to keep mine a surprise." Ashia said, even though she was pretty sure it wasn't directed at her. "The human mind is said to make subconscious judgement based on whatever facts we obtain. Therefore by not knowing for sure, you can keep your mind open and low of expectation." Ashia explained. It was something Jaye had told her once, and she thought it would work here.

"I'm keeping mine a secret too" Bane said. "Might be fun" "My fun was taken because of you Bane" Forest said. "How?" Bane asked, hating being blamed for nothing. "Your the one who tried to grab my egg and got burnt because of it. Don't think the dragon will like you when he or she hatches" Forest said. "It might not like you either. Fire dragons are short tempered, you know" Bane said.

"True," Era said butting in "but rarely to their own riders." Era smiled. "What do you guys plan on naming your dragon?"

"Not sure yet" Forest said. "I still need to knwo if its male or female" "Not sure yet. If its a female, it might be a name like Fey. Male might be Jevin" Bane said.

(Jevin is pronounced Heaven and is one of my OCs))

"Short tempered, but protective." Ashia pointed out. "As long as your not abusive or something, it should like you just fine." she assured. Than they mentioned names.
"It depends on the breed and gender." she said with a shrug.
