Santa's Elves (Open and Accepting!)

"Hey," Haynya said then sighed. "I'm a little worried. Vixen has a cold." She pet the deer's shoulders.

Reena and Hatima hurried to school. Their hair flew behind them as they ran.

Sayde headed to the stables, stifling a yawn. She smiled at Haynya and then grabbed a rope from the hook. She went to Cupid's stall and led him out to the snow covered ground. (training later, have to go to bed)

"Hey Sayde" said Perry, giving her a half smile. She looked moody, and he didn't want to anger her. "I thinnk he'll be alright." he said to Haynya. "He always gets a cold around this time of year."

Fatima sat at the worktable in the workshop, carving a small toy train.

Haynya nodded. "I know, but I always worry about them." She snuggled up closer to the reindeer, Vixen burying her head into her coat. These reindeer, well the ones who were male, were gifted with the keeping of their antlers to show that they belonged to Santa's flying crowd. Vixen, being the only female reindeer, wore a special collar instead, seeing that female reindeer don't lose their antlers in the winter.

She clambered onto Cupid's back and kicked his side and he started cantering and then, as she held on, he leaped into the sky and pawed the ground, his hooves struck the clouds as he wheeled and raced down to the ground. He slowed and landed perfectly. "Good Boy" She said, climbing off. She led him back and into his stall. She went to Donnor's stall and before hooking him. She looked over into Vixen's stall. "Poor girl, I go easy on her and just walk her around"

Hayda nodded. "Alright. Oh Yeah, when I let the reindeer out earlier to stretch out and graze, I think I saw Dancer limping. So you might want to check it out."

Perry was inside the stable, brushing off Rudolf. Rudolf did have a red nose, but it was only because he had gotten it stained with paint when he was little. Rudolf was Perry's favorite.

Fatima stared off into space, while she absentmindly brushed paint onto the toy train. "Fatima!" Ranan, the director of Toymaking, was making her rounds. "Fatima! Pay attention to what you're doing! We'll have to throw that out if you don't do it perfectly."

Hatima headed over to her sister Sayde and Haynya, a bright red and green lead rope in her hand. "I'm going to bring dancer to the office and check his legs" She said clipping it onto his halter. She led the brown and tan reindeer out of his stall and to the hospital/office

Haynya nodded her head. "I hope he's alright."

Fatima tried to concentrate on the toy train, but it was too hard. When she brought it over to the drying table, she almost ran into Nonie. "What are you doing in here?" she snapped at Nonie.
"Coming to get you." Nonie grinned, showing her missing front teeth.
