Alex sat on her bed, she had her face in her hands. 'What's the point of life when there is nothing to live for?' Alex mumbled into her hands. She looked up at the wall and sighed.

A lone figure sat on her bed in the darkest corner of the dorm she shared with every other freak in the school. Their voices traveled across the floor and buzzed in her ears, even through the tattered pillow she had her ears covered with. All the while, several more voices buzzed not in her ears, but in her mind. <Kill them. Kill them all, Evisie dearest. They annoy you. Just get rid of them. Kill them.> the voices cooed in her brain, making her mutter several inappropriate words in response. She looked around, but cloaked in the shadow of the room as she was, no one paid her any mind.

On the opposite side of the room another figure stood in front of a large crowd of younger students, creating ice sculptures in mid-air for their amusement. In one scenario, a frozen dog chased a frozen cat, getting several laughs from the kids. Toby grinned and continued his little game, creating new stories and animals every so often as the old one melted and re-crystallized.

Alex looked around the room filled with the other kids that were sent here. She saw ice sculptures being made. Alex looked at a boy who was sitting across the room, whom she suspected was the one making them. She stretched out a bit, the bed was even worst then sitting on the floor. Alex continued to watch the sculptures.

[The Dolorosa]

"Sugoi Sugoi!" Cristina said as her eyes shone while watching the ice figures.She was a child after all.A child that knew Japanese,and would not miss a chance to use it.

Toby grinned and continued manipulating the ice as his crowd expanded. It had to be one of his best qualities, having no fear of crowds. In fact, he loved them. It meant more people to talk to, more people to amuse with his idiotic games. As his act came to a close, he closed his hand into a fist and brought it close to his mouth. He opened his fist and blew into his hand, sending a flurry of tiny ice birds soaring around the room before they burst into a shower of minuscule ice crystals. He took a dramatic bow and sat down.

Across the room, Evisie watched the little show end, her lip twitching in amusement. She knew that the end of the show would bring about even more noise, but it was almost worth it. Evisie stepped off the bed, but the foot that touched the cold floor was not human. It was furry and white, attached to a solid black leg. The black, winged cat, Evisie in her Shifted form, made her way to the crowd and sat down, turning back into a human as she did so.

[Kibasaurus!]

Anne ignored Cristina and continued to glare at the wall. She sighed and turned to watch Toby's performance, trying to take her mind off of things. "I want dinner," She muttered, waiting for the staff to ring the dinner bell.

Cristina clapped as the show ended.As the shadows started to come,because there wasn't the ice to bring light.<You know they aren't real,why do you continue living? for your sister? take the shards,kill all of them to make them escape the pain,you know that is what they want...>.Cris instantly hugged her knees to hide.Shut up,I'm not killing anyoneshe thought back,,hiding her face in her knees.
Tamara smiled a little when the little shower of crystals came.It was nice of him,to do all of these just to make kids happy,and give hem a little hope.

Anne noticed Cristina curl up and frowned, "You okay?" she asked, standing up and stretching.

"I say in-between" Cristina responded,raising her head a bit.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" She asked, tilting her head to one side to look at the little girl.
