Arowin slipped into the stable and tacked up a huge grey gelding who tossed his head and nipped at her hand every now and then before throwing a german shepard a dirty look. She laughs and kisses Brander's nose before swinging up into the saddle. The dog known as Scout jumped to his paws and shot ahead of them as she rode towards the gate. The gelding tossed his head about and reared a few times but Arowin easily kept him from bolting. She giggled as the gelding threw her a horrid look before giving a defiant buck.

Arowin reined in her horse and Scout ran back to them happily wagging his tail. Both horse, rider and hound looked forward to the time away from the village, deep in the forest tracking the deer. Arowin glanced around for the other hunters, great nothing. "Stupid boys." she muttered undr her breath. Brander tossed his head and pranced while Arowin pulled him in a tight circle to stop him from bolting. With a sigh she decided to head into the forest on her own. Brander bolted forward into the shadows of the forest with Scout at his heel.
