Power: Mind reading and telepathic communication. She can do it easily with eye contact, and a little more trickily remotely. She can enter minds, and then choose to sit on the surface of dive into them. It scares people the first time she does it, but they get used to it. She can 'thought speak' while in peoples' minds, and they can 'think' back to her. However, it takes a lot of energy to do it remotely and when she makes eye contact she can't help but dive into the person.
Appearance (Picture preferable):
Personality: She is friendly and lovable. She's thoughtful, and sometimes reserved, and very honest and trusting.
Background (When did your parents die? Have you any brothers or sisters?): Her mother and father died when she was just a baby. She was raised in another orphanage, then taken to this one a few years ago.

Power: Telekenisis. He can move objects with a flick of his wrist. However, he can only move things which he can see.

Personality:Confident and slighty arrogant, but loyal and loving.
Background: His parents died when he was eight in a hurricane, and he lived on the streets for a while, begging for food and money. He was thin and ill when the orphanage took him in, and his powers only developed when he was healthy again.

He can manipulate people thoughts into thinking things that aren't real. If there is a tree right in front of them, he can make them think that it's a bush. Or he can make the person think that he is talking. Or he can make people feel emotions, like if they are happy - he can make them feel fear or anger. Limitation: He has to touch them in order for it to work.

Personality:
Xavier isn't the guy parents wouldn't want to have around their children or have as their child. He's a fearless dare-devil, and quite cocky. If he wants to do it, he does it. Most -- including his parents -- say that they can 'change him around', but none have succeeded so far. He has a fairly short temper, but he has sympathy and, deep inside, cares for people. Especially girls, although that's a given. Xavier would never fall for a flirty girl, though. But at times, Xavier does flirt sometimes. He can be rather tricky when it comes to his power.
Background:
He actually had a decent childhood, growing up with a mother and father and 2 brothers. He was the smallest of them all, but his personality was the greatest. He used to play all day long with his friends and then sleep the night away. He was always very "special." When he was younger he wanted to do magic, without realizing that he was actually doing it with his powers. Then when he was 9 years old, his family died in a car crash. He was the only one that survived.

Gender: Female, I sure do hope.
Power: Raye has the power to 'control' darkness, but it seems to control her more. It lashes out at times she can't handle; when her emotions reach a high peak; happy, sad, angry, doesn't matter. If she hurts someone, she can draw it back into her, but it ends up hurting herself, a more painful way. The power goes into her, then does what it did to the the other person, inside out instead of going outside inward.
The darkness tends to leech life from her, causing her to often be tired, or have massive headaches. The headaches get so bad at times, she just wants to crawl in a corner and cry. They pound in her skull, the darkness aching to get out, and find a new source of power.
She can, however, lose her power. She can let it all go away, and it will go to the nearest, healthy life form available.
But, the darkness is a part of her, being with her sense she was a little girl, and it might kill her if she wasn't in the most healthy state possible.
She can also alter things that have to do with your imagination, such as lifelong dreams and memories, normally in a...Not so good way. This requires her darkness, so it's not necessarily a different power >.<
Appearance: Put it at the top.
Personality: Raye is...self-centered, self-conscious, and...just not nice. She tends to look at the bad side of things, but it just comes naturally to her. She's tried being nice before, and caring, and she can be. It's just hard for her, the whispering darkness in her mind influencing her to do bad things, cause bad things. Hurt innocent people, be snarky and sarcastic, not kind and playful.
But she is playful, in a dark-humor kind of way. Her sense of humor is odd, not innocent and oblivious like many others.

Other: I feel so bad about re-using a charrie from an old Rp D: But she called. And I just have to put her history, or she seems incomplete. So here it is:
Background: Raye was taken by the darkness {They liked her golden eyes}, at the tender age of three, away from her rich parents. She spent 8 years in an other world, the darkness controlling her body and taking over every single piece of her mind, until that's all she was. Darkness.
At the end of the many years, the darkness loosened it's grip on her the tiniest bit, each year letting loose a tiny bit more, but never enough to let her shake herself free.
The other power came along eventually, a gift from the darkness when she completed the...'Transformation'.
But she could, she found out, at the price of another human. As soon as she escaped, still unknowing of how to control her powers, let loose all of it. She had met her younger brother, all grown up now, {She didn't necessarily recognize him, but had recognized the familiar features and hopes}, and had felt the overwhelming joy. The power had surged out into her brother, almost killing him and turning him into, basically, a vegetable. She had sunk back into her corner of the mind, leaving his body in a public place for someone else to find.
She has completely cut off contact with her parents, changing her name, {It was originally Lori Kee}, and moving ou of the city.
Until the Gov't found her, and took her here.

Personality: funloving, but shy if she does know you, she will often turn into a cat and sit in a corner for hours with nothing to do.
Background (When did your parents die? Have you any brothers or sisters?): she was an only child, and slightly spoiled by her rich parents, but one day when they were on a cruise it got hit by a typhoon, she turned into a gold fish and survived. this all happened when she was nine years old, and she has been living in the orphanage since, but she dreams that she will one day be able to escape.
