Sarah walked around her new room, wondering why her life was so boring and awful.
Her father had gone off to war, and she was then sent to a house.
The house was huge.
Sarah stared at a gift on her new bed, that said it was from her mom.
Sarah looked confused.
Her mom had divorced her dad a long time ago.
Why would she send Sarah a gift?
It wasn't even a holiday!
But Sarah opened the present anyway.
Inside, there was a key.
Sara stared at the key.
Why would mom send me a key? she thought.
But then, Sarah looked next to her bed.
There was a small nightstand right next to her bed.
She stared at the key, and then at the keyhole on the nightstand.
It's worth a shot! She thought.
She put the key in the keyhole, and then she turned it.
The key fit perfectly.
Sarah's mouth dropped open.
How did mom know that this key would fit the nightstand? Sarah thought.
She opened the door to the nighstand that the key fit in, and then her mouth dropped open even further.
When she peered into the nightstand, it looked as if she could go inside the nightstand and crawl into another world.
I might as well try. Sarah thought.
She crawled into the nightstand, and she kept on crawling in awe.
Where was she crawling to?
{If you're wondering what I'm typing, click
here to see what the nightstand looked like (Sarah climbs through the big door in it), and click
here to see how she's crawling (except the toub in the picture is completely flat and it's really really long and if you're wondering, it's the large slide in the picture.}
