<^> Gabrielle and Michelle <^>
The twins sat side by side, neither whispering a word. Their palms were together, both their legs crossed in a pretzel shape, sitting Indian style. Their breathing coming out in small puffs, in rythm with each other. The heart beats soon matched as well. Gabrielle was the first to open her eyes, a small huff coming from her full lips as she felt the presence of her black wings behind her. They stretched out, much larger than anyone could imagine, the tips glowing a faint whiteish color, almost invisible to the human eyes. Gabrielle whsipered a few words before detaching her hand from her twin's.
"Michelle." Gabrielle whispered, her eyes pained as she saw nothing behind her sister, her once beautiful violet wings, were gone. Never to be seen again. Michelle opened her golden eye, her breath coming out in a small huff. She had been glad that it was Gabrielle who got to keep her wings, for she knew that her twin took much more pride in the feathery attachments than she ever could. Michelle ran her finger's threw her sister's black wings.
"Don't worry, Gabrielle. I don't care that you have wings." Michelle said with a small, yet truthful smile on her face. She only wanted to see her twin happy, and if wings made her happy, so be it. Gabrielle's wings fluttered nervously as she listened to the wind. They were seated atop a small moutain, somewhere in the South Eastern part of the United States. Normally the sisters did not keep track of where they were, but they had sensed a Nephlim and a few Fallen here, so they decided to travel from their tour of France to here, the boring old U.S.A. Gabrielle's white hair whipped in the wind and her deep purple eyes scanned the area. Michelle, however, was tense, her stance protective. They did not want anyone to find them, they wanted to find the Fallen, but they weren't entirly sure weither to trust them or not.
"Let's go, Gabbe." Michelle said, her golden eye scanning the moutain top. It didn't feel safe here. Gabrielle nodded, wraping her thin arms around Michelle's waist and taking to the air. As she was flying, Gabrielle caught sight of a village. She swooped down low enough that they could see. It seemed as though the Nephlim and the Fallens lived there, for the scent of angel was rich. Michelle nodded and Gabrielle landed in a nearby woods. Michelle brushed herself off as Gabrielle retracted her wings, a slow and painful process. Once finished, the twins began walking, the village their destination.
