"Excuse me, patron me! oh man, i think late.." Indeed he was late. In fact, Micheal missed Milli's little speech. Well, not all of it. He heard her say something about clones doing something across the region. By the looks of it, sounded like the region was in a pickle thanks to these clones. Micheal's best bet was to go around and ask people what was going on. It was his own fault really, Micheal was exploring the city, trying to get a map for the region, Normally what people do when they come to a new region. The young trainer had forgotten about the speech, he was so excited that he manged to lose track of time. Oh well,He'll figure out what's going on soon. However, people where surprisingly rude. They either told him to figure it out on his own, told him it was his fault for being late, or just ignored him.

"Geez..these trainers are rude. Now what are we going to do Jolteon?" Micheal glanced down at his partner, who seem to be scanning the area for someone else who could help them out. The pokemon soon spotted someone in the distance, looked like he was just watching the others. The man didn't look like the nicest person in world, but it wouldn't hurt to interact with him. Besides, you shouldn't never judge a book by it's cover." Wait Jolteon, where are you going?" Micheal soon found out that his pokemon lead him to trainer that he studied for a moment." Oh ummm..hey there. Hate to bother you but..would you mind telling me what that speech was about?"

The new region seem promising, he could already tell that some strong trainers rested here. That was good, Calem was ready to face them all. His goal was to improve his self, not make friends are any of that stuff. To him it was cheesy and having friends only slowed im down. Well, he only thought that because he has been alone most of his life. Didn't no one look after him but his self.Maybe...his view of having friends and those you could depend would change soon. Of course he didn't think anything was change, but if he just meet the right people...maybe his closed heart would open. Anyway, friends or no friend, Calem would most likely be alright on his own. He's gotten this far without anyone

As the man continued to explore the city, he noticed that a group of people where flooding into building. He was Curious in what was going on..maybe a battling contest? heck yeah, he totally was going to enter. However, it wasn't no contest...it was a cry of help. Calem decided to stay and listen, he had nothing else to do." Leader of the region and a team? she must be a strong trainer." he snorted abit. Help the region? become a hero? nah, he didn't do a hero thing, but fighting those clones she mentioned sounded like fun. Yep, he was game, but he was only doing this to test his pokemon's power." Clones. Alright. This should be a simple test for my pokemon. Afterwards..i'll conquer this region's league with no problem."

    ─────── ( Emilia ! ) ──────────────────
      (♛) Emilia Blossom (♛) female (♛) 16 (♛) trainer (♛) location;; Violetport City (♛) tags;; open (♛)

Emilia listened with unequivocal care. She could not miss any single detail. It was her own choice to come to this region. It would be only her fault if things were to go wrong in her new challenge. Help. That is her reason to come. Always lending a helping hand to those who need it, Emilia saw no option of missing out helping around here. They needed an extra hand. Even though she may not be the strongest trainer yet, though she plans on being it in the future, she could provide much aid to the locals with this whole mess. Partly she also wanted to come to the region for travel. To see new lands that her eyes have never observed. She was finally free. Freedom was in her grasp. Her control. But she chose to use it wisely, for beneficial reasons.

Thoughts came into her head shortly after the finishing sentence of Team Clone's leader. Suspicions were raised. Something seemed off but she couldn't quite place her finger on it just at this moment. It didn't really matter yet. The cloned pokemon were to be dealt with first. Those are the symptoms of the disease, but what is the cause... Did Team Clone not tell the full story perhaps? Or they're missing out a vital part. Nevertheless, there would be no point starting up suspicion within others. On the contrary, Emilia wished for someone to team up with her - it would be much more fun to do this with a new friend! She observed the other trainers, wishing for someone to notice her.

      Blue
      ──────────────────
21 | Male | Location: Violetport City | Tagged: Open

Leaning against a wall at the side of the room, Blue had very little interest in what the Team Clone leader had to say. If he was being honest, he didn't even trust her, but his grandfather had suggested he come here anyways and try to help since he was one of Kanto's strongest trainers. Of course he accepted although it hadn't been for the reason of helping. Actually, this was an excuse to escape his gym for awhile and explore like the old days. Surely trainers would get annoyed that he wasn't around yet again, but it wasn't as if his gym closed down every time he left these days. He had found ways to keep it running without him being there and he doubted anyone would come around with all seven badges anyways. It was a rarity. Pulling himself from his thoughts, his shifted his gaze momentarily to the woman walking near the podium as she spoke. He had to give it to her, she was poised though the way she spoke was unbefitting of a leader of a region, then again, Acrea seemed to function differently than other places. It seemed their champion had less power since this leader had most of the power. He doubted that she was also the regions champion on top of everything then again she seemed to be the type to be over the top so he wouldn't put it past her. Averting his eyes away once again, the Viridian gym leader decided to shift his focus elsewhere for the time being. He might as well try to get a feel for who else was present at this thing.

Looking around it was hard to tell if there were any familiar faces. Most appeared to be people he had never seen although it was hard to miss the Johto champion among the crowd. It was no surprise that the snarky boy had made his way here. If anything this was right up his alley. Once a hero, always a hero, right? It was almost painful calling that boy a hero though. His personality definitely didn't suit one. He was far too mouthy and in your face. Who was he to judge though. He wasn't necessarily the nicest one around either, but he didn't claim to be a hero. That had always been Red. Heroics were never something he got himself caught up in. Grunting softly at the thought, his gaze finally moved past the boy and continued to scan the crowd in search of anyone else that might stand out to him. For a moment he thought he caught a glimpse of the Alolan champion as well, but he brushed it off for now. Surely she wouldn't be here in a crowd. Even if he had only known her for a short time while he was in Alola, he knew she wasn't a people person.

Finishing his scan of the room, Blue let a bored sigh escape his lips. This definitely wasn't something thrilling, but it seemed that it was over as quickly as it had begun. This Millicent had already finished her speech and trainers were filing out to begin figuring out ways to deal with the problem that had been posed to them. He on the other hand was no rush to leave. If anything he wanted to try and get information. What was given out hadn't been enough. Sneaking around an organization's headquarters was probably not a smart thing to do, but he might be able to get away with it. He had done it once back when Red had been dealing with Team Rocket so why not do it again for the hell of it? Smirking, Blue knew he would have to make his move at the right time otherwise he would be caught in the act. Plucking a ball from his belt, he released Flareon from his pokeball. It had been quite some time since he had brought the eeveelution along with him, but with Arcanine staying at the gym and Ninetales with his grandfather, he felt he had to have some kind of fire type on his team. "Flareon, could you sneak on ahead? I'll come join you when I see an opening," he muttered towards the pokemon. With a nod of its head, Flareon looked around to make sure nobody was watching before taking off toward the back halls.

Standing among the crowd with his hands tucked in his sweatshirt pocket, Gold let a bored yawn escape his lips as Millicent babbled on about what was happening. Was this really what he was spending his time doing? He could very well be putting his skills to use already rather than standing here listening to some lady spew out empty hopes. Honestly, she seemed no better than the Team Rocket thugs he had dealt with forever ago. If anything it wouldn't surprise him if this Team Clone was some bad organization. Most organizations with the word team in it seemed to be that way. What did he care though? If Team Clone was a problem he'd take care of them after he dealt with the clones they had created so they wouldn't be able to spread to his own region. That was the only reason he had even come here. It wasn't to be a hero. No. All he cared about was Johto and keeping it safe. If clones were to somehow threaten his home then he would take action. Plus he had heard they had managed to clone legendaries, more specifically Ho-Oh. That alone ticked him off and turned him against trusting Team Clone yet he still found himself standing at the debriefing. People who knew him would probably get the wrong idea on why he was here, but that was fine. They could believe whatever they wanted to anyways. It wasn't as if he cared much about what his reputation was like. He was always looked at as an unfitting champion anyways.

Rocking back on his heels, the Johto champion almost missed that Milli had ended her speech. Finally the suffering was over. It wasn't as if she had given any important information anyways. She hadn't even pointed out the worst areas in the region or of course where he could find any of the legendary clones that had been able to create. He supposed he'd have to do his own digging. Confronting her on such questions seemed useless. Even with his status as a champion, he doubted she would give him a straightforward answer. It wasn't as if he wanted to deal with her anyways. He'd figure things out like he always did. That was how he rolled. Turning on his heels as trainers began to leave, Gold stopped for a moment to have a look around the room. Scanning the faces of trainers that passed him by none of them stood out to him. Actually, he didn't even recognize any of them to begin with. He supposed that was no surprise. He didn't get around much these days and if they weren't from Kanto or Johto, he probably didn't know them unless they were a frequent visitor to his region and actually was a big shot at that.

Giving a small shake of his head, he decided there was no reason for him to stand around any longer. Deciding to take his leave, Gold made his way towards the exit. Humming to himself as he did so, the Johto champ stepped out into the streets with a bold smirk across his face. "Heh, this place ain't gonna know what hit it once I'm done here," he chuckled as he began making his way down the street. He had no idea where he was headed just yet, but he would figured it out soon enough.

      Alfonse
      ──────────────────
17 | Male | Location: Dragonlea Island | Tagged: Kichirou

Today was that debriefing, wasn't it? He had forgotten to get to Violetport City sooner, but he supposed he would be fine. It wasn't the end of the world that he hadn't heard what the Acrean leader had to say. Besides, he had his own work to do and he had no desire to deal with the others that had come to Acrea to deal with the clone issue. If anything he wanted to deal with it by himself to impress his bosses. Maybe then they'd stop calling him a trainee and promote him to something better. Maybe he'd finally become the international police detective he desired to be. If only that would just happen already. Giving a soft sigh, Alfonse made his way through the beaten paths on Dragonlea Island in silence with Allura floating alongside him. A lot had changed ever since he had met the lake guardian. Perhaps it was for the better. It had accepted him as its trainer, acknowledging his willpower. Sometimes he wondered if it was even a good thing that the legendary had wanted to travel with him. Some told him that it was a good thing that he had such a strong connection with azelf. It showed he had strong determination in what he was doing. At the same time he sometimes wished he had gotten attention of something much stronger than it though he would never tell the Pokemon such. He hated that he even thought in such a way. If anything he should feel lucky that a legend even wished to aid him in his work.

Giving a soft sigh, Allura seemed to noticed something off with its trainer and floated up to land on his shoulder. Cooing softly at the boy, it tapped the side of head gently in attempt to calm whatever thoughts he might be having. Feeling the pokemon's touch, Alfonse perked up and allowed a faint smile to cross his lips. Maybe being known for his willpower wasn't such a bad thing and Allura was keen on the work that he did anyways. It'd be far more difficult to get around if he had a legendary that was much bigger than it. "I'm okay, Allura. Just trying to figure out what we need to do here," he said although it was a lie. He knew very well that wasn't what was bugging him and he was sure that the legendary could tell as well, but it wouldn't press for him to admit such. "We've been in Acrea several days now, but it seems the farther we get from Violetport, the worse the clone attacks get. Do you think Team Clone's presence plays a role?" It was an interesting thought. Could it perhaps have something to do with what was going on? It was possible. Unlike the few other areas he had already been to before, this place was far different. He noticed a high activity of clones around these parts and it definitely kept him on his feet and even put him a bit on edge. He couldn't imagine that anyone else would be crazy enough to willingly come to this place.

Moving along the path towards what appeared to be a village ahead, Alfonse stopped and stood in silence for a moment looking out at what laid before him. His gaze moved from the town for a moment and towards a hill that was nearby only to see a figure standing upon it. He couldn't believe it. Someone was crazy enough to be out in these parts. Glacing at Allura, he gestured the legendary forward before pushing himself off once again hoping that the other might see him coming in and approach him instead. It certainly would make his life easier.

      Caitlyn

With her arms crossed over her chest, Caitlyn quietly listened as the Team Clone leader addressed the group of trainers that had gathered. Part of her didn't want to trust this woman, but if she was truly evil then why would she be the one sending out pleas to other regions? It was possible it was a trap. She really couldn't put her finger on it though. All she could do was go through with why she had come here. She still wondered why she actually had volunteered actually. It wasn't as if she had anything to gain. All she wanted was to get out of Kanto for awhile and this was her ticket out for the time being. Saving a region though? That wasn't something up her alley at all. When she was younger she had dreamed of becoming a hero but that was something most children dreamed of. It was something she had long pushed past since then, but still it seemed as if she was chasing that dream after all. Why else would she be here? Giving her head a shake, she felt Riley nuzzle up against her neck to snap her back into reality. Allowing a soft chuckle to escape her lips, she reached up to stroke the pikachu. If anything were to come out of this for her it was to become stronger. Maybe then she could move up in the world and do more than help younger trainers back in the Kanto region. It wasn't necessarily something she enjoyed to begin with. For now she would just have to enjoy being away from the children. Maybe here she would be able to let Hestia out while she was here. The legendary bird didn't get out much these days. It was disheartening.

As the debriefing ended, Caitlyn watched as trainers began to move towards the exit while others seemed to stand around not knowing what exactly to do. Glancing toward the Acrea leader, she wrinkled her nose. She doubted the older woman was going to put any work in, but she wouldn't voice that. For now she would focus on what she could do. Worrying about what the Team Clone leader had planned was none of her business unless she got in the way of what she was doing. She doubted the woman was even that strong of a trainer to begin with. Honestly in her eyes, Milli was nothing more than a pretty face. Scoffing at the thought, Caitlyn turned on her heels to make her way toward the exit. She had no farther reason to stay here. If anything she needed to find a map of this region and figure out where she should go from here. It might be smart to ask one of the other trainers for some kind of help, but she couldn't bring herself to do such. It wasn't as if she wasn't used to doing thing on her own at this point. She doubted anyone would even be interested.

With that in mind, she began making her way towards the exit until her eyes caught sight of a map hanging on the far back wall. Just what she needed. Moving towards it instead, the Kanto born trainer stopped once she was close enough and carefully studied it. Acrea definitely was very different than Kanto or even Hoenn. "Where do we even begin? I have no clue," she muttered.

There was no real reason for Percival to bother with attending the briefing that was being given to mainly the newcomers that had come to Acrea to help with the pokémon clone issue. It still greatly bothered him that Millicent had to call for help from other regions, in his eyes it made Team Clone appear to be incapable of dealing with their own problems. He knew that the Pokémon cloning had gotten out of hand, more powerful than anticipated and certainly more aggressive and violent, but he still hated to admit that help was needed. If you asked him, he’d vote against reaching out for help from other regions; he was certain, if given enough time, Team Clone would have been able to take control once more and handle the threat of the clones destroying anymore of Acrea. While that was his opinion, he liked to believe it was fact however there was a lot of evidence that would go against that, in particular all of the destruction that had already happened; Wildecoast Town had been completely overrun, Esterelf Island had been overrun, and there were plenty of towns and cities were at risk of being attacked and overrun by the cloned Pokémon. Even though Percival was strongly against asking for help most of the time, it was rare to find the leader of Acrea and Team Clone so serious; if Millicent was worried enough about it, he supposed he could tolerate the fact they needed help. That didn’t mean he was willing to work together with newcomers, though.

The dark-haired male was leaned up against a wall whilst Millicent gave the briefing, he was impatiently tapping his foot and his arms were folded over his chest, his eyes were narrowed while he scanned them over the people who attended the briefing, in particular he focused on those not from Team Clone. He didn’t stay for long, though. He remained for the start of the briefing and for when Millicent welcomed the trainers, but he decided to exit before she briefly summarized the situation in the region; he already knew enough about that. While he walked out of the building, he still heard some of the beginning of the summary which prompted him to huff and kiss his teeth. The sooner this issue was resolved, the better. He hated to admit it but the situation really did, genuinely worry him, although, he obviously wouldn’t let anybody know about that.

Walking out of the building and sighing, Percival glanced upwards at the sky and scratched the back of his neck, he wanted to get out of the way of the crowd that would likely form after Millicent was finished with the briefing, so he was quick to begin walking away from the entrance to the building. At least once everyone cleared out there might be some peace and quiet when he returned. He stepped away from the trainers and champions that were flooding out of the doors when the briefing was finished and he just stood around the side of the building and watched the crowd, remaining completely silent as his eyes scanned over the multiple people who had supposedly came to help Acrea.

Caelan stood against a wall as he listened to the Acrean leader, who was apparently also the leader of a organization called Team Clone. These clones sounded somewhat interesting, but he decided to hold off on trying to catch one until he knew more about them. After the briefing was over, he walked up to Millicent and asked, "Don't get the wrong idea ma'am, I'm willing to help your region with this clone problem, but I do have a few questions, if you don't mind me asking them." There were only a few things he wanted to know, like if there was any reward for helping, but more importantly, if they had ever created a clone of Mewtwo. Mewtwo was a clone to begin with, and just like these clones, its creators lost control of it because it was far too strong. If Team Clone had created a Clone Mewtwo, or what he would have called Mewthree, there could be some serious trouble.

    𝙶 𝚁 𝙰 𝙲 𝙸 𝙳 𝙴 𝙰
    | form | female | tagged; gold |

The Alolan trainer listened eagerly once the leader of Team Clone and of Acrea began to speak at the podium and address the reason why there was the call for help and what those who came to help would be dealing with. Before she travelled to Acrea, she had made sure that she did her research on the situation she would be walking into, with the clone Pokémon overrunning towns and threatening other towns and cities on Acrea. The situation certainly sounded serious and Gracidea would simply feel awful to standing by and refusing to help the region in its time of need. While there was some speculation that Team Clone’s intentions were morally questionable since there were many that seemed to be against the concept of cloning Pokémon, especially cloning legendaries which Team Clone had definitely done that; they even displayed the feathers of Lugia and Ho-Oh at a museum in one of the towns: Lorhill, if she managed to recall correctly. The idea of legendaries running rampant was a frightening thought to say the least, and, although she intended to mainly focus on helping the people and Pokémon of Acrea, she also wanted to ensure that the cloned Pokémon did not pose a risk to Alola. Even if she had little influence in the region, she still wanted to at least help protect it and another region while she was doing so. It was like a win-win situation.

Gracidea had her Primarina beside her while she listened to the briefing, she often would have her starter out of his Pokéball and travelling beside her, she enjoyed his company, after all, and probably had the closest bond with him out of all of her Pokémon. Once the leader of Acrea finished briefing and ended on a lighter note, sounding determined that they could work to fight the threat of the clones and she offered to hang around for any questions at the end as well. For the time being, the Alolan decided against approaching with questions; she couldn’t really think of any at the time, after all, although she certainly was curious about the cloned Pokémon. What ones were cloned? Were more legendaries cloned? She would save that for later, after all, maybe those questions would be answered later on. It was a shame that the clones had become aggressive, though, as Gracidea really would have looked forward to encountering and befriending the Pokémon. That would need to wait until they solved what was going on.

When people began to leave the room at the end of the briefing, she panicked slightly and glanced around. She knew nobody here, or, at least, she knew nobody personally she only really would know those who were generally well known; she’d recognised a few of the champions from the various regions at the beginning of the briefing, but there were quite a lot of people she didn’t recognise. They must have just been common trainers like her, which was definitely a comforting thought. She shook her head, she couldn’t start day-dreaming now! She had to focus on finding someone to maybe tag along with during her time in the foreign region. Chewing her lip nervously (it was a terrible habit of hers) she eventually decided on leaving the building and glance around at those around her before she settled on jogging over to someone who had already began walking down the street. It seemed like they knew what they were doing, at least.

”Hey! Hello, um, sorry.” She had a quick pace to catch up with them, but slowed once she was closer, and only when she was closer did she realize who it was she approached. While Gracidea had little knowledge on other regions, she at least knew of the champions so it didn’t take long for her to figure out it was Johto’s champion. "Oh!" That was quite daunting. Out of all the people she could have possibly approached she managed to run over to a champion and it would be awkward if she avoided him now so that wasn't an option. Mentally, she comforted herself by insisting that it didn't matter how important people were, there was still the chance to make new friends which was always something that lightened her mood. Clearing her throat nervously and quietly sucking in a breath, the trainer offered a small smile before speaking once again, ”Um, hi. I’m Gracidea, you could just call me Grace, though, if you'd like. I really don't mind.” - she dipped her head politely when she introduced herself - ”I, er, I saw you at the briefing. You’re here to help with the clones too?” It wasn’t until after she spoke that she realised it was probably a stupid question to ask, obviously if someone was at the briefing they were intending to help with the issue with the Pokémon clones, right? It was too late to take it back now, though, so instead she fell completely silent to wait for an answer. If she kept talking she would probably start to ramble and that usually wasn’t the best first impression: asking stupid questions and rambling.

----M A R R Y----
{Fern -Venusaur, Gekigami-Raikou, Tsuki-Alolan Vulpix, Thunder-Luxray, Amatersu-Flareon, Godzilla-Tyrantrum★}
[Kanto] [Trainer] [Violetport City - market] [open]

  • A new region meant new adventures for her and her team and after hearing everything, she was determined. Thus at the moment, she walked through Violetport City with Thunder at her side. The luxray's tail swinging back and forth in a lazy motion while they explored the city and picked up everything they needed. A stock of various pokeballs just incase, potions and revives if she needed them as well as status healers. A map to keep from getting lost. Various berries and foods for the trips between towns as well as camping gear and repels. She had no idea if repels worked on the supposedly really aggressive clones, but she got them just incase.

----N U L L----
{Mrk number #002 - Normal Varient}
[Type: Null] [Mt. Emerald] [open]

  • Snow crunched heavily under foot as the beast trudged through the snow. Their head hung low, dragging practically and scuffing the heavy metal. The best pokemon rumbled and snarled at anything that got to close to them as they slowly moved to climb to the top of the mountain. The perfect spot to just go stone still and stare at the sky. They liked to gaze at the sky, watch the clouds drift away, free to adventure cross the planet with no care in the world, no worries. And the stars, always glittering and twinkling at night with beautiful pictures the best had no names for.

----T O T O D I L E ----
{Clone number #00794 - Shiny}
[Totodile] [moormead town] [open]

  • Lazily basking in the muddy pools of water was what the small water type was doing. Her eyes closed, rolled onto her belly, floating along with little care in the world. The place was void of any humans or trainers, so everything was rather peaceful to her. Yes there was the occasional other clone but she tended to avoid them, not really caring much for their presence. A soft little laugh escaped her for no real reason. Or maybe there was a reason. Maybe she was laughing and thinking back on the idea that humans thought they could control them. Or maybe she was laughing because she could. Who knew to the odd little water type. Who knew.

As she watched many of the trainers begin filing out, Millicent returned the microphone to the podium before moving to the edge of the small stage that had been set up. Lowering herself down, she swung her legs over the edge of it before resting her hands in her lap to see if anyone would actually be brave enough to approach her. It definitely was a rare opportunity to be able to speak with her without needing to set things up first. Like anyone who was in power, she was well protected, but that was for her own safety and nothing else. Some might thing it was for other reason, but she could really careless. Closing her eyes for a moment, part of her hoped there were no questions so she could return to those in the next room over to return to trying to find a solution to the clone problem. She was sure that Kit and the others were eager to fix this as soon as they could. It had already gone on for too long and she knew he scientist were doing everything in their power to find a cure. Was it even something that science could fix? She wasn't even sure anymore. She just had to hope. It'd be much easier if she could just wish her problems away with Jirachi, but the mythical pokemon refused to grant such a wish and she did not blame it one bit. In her eyes it was challenging her to solve it on her own and that was something she respected. It had helped her plenty anyways so it was only fair to do this kind of work on her own.

Snapping from her thoughts as she finally heard a voice address her, Milli opened her eyes to see who had approached her. It wasn't anyone she had seen before though she figured any of the trainers she might know had little interest in speaking with her anyways. Glancing upwards at Caelan, the Acrean leader tilted her head slightly before quirking a brow. Leaning back slightly she let a soft hum of amusement escape her lips. "A few questions, eh? I suppose it depends on what they are because if they don't have to do with the clone problem then I am less likely to be able to answer them," she responded. She knew there were plenty of questions people would want to ask her and from the way he had approached her, she kind of figured that his questioned might not directly deal with the problem at hand, but something that was a bit off topic. There was only so much information she could just hand out to begin with. That was how any leader had to act. Being entirely transparent wasn't possible otherwise it might jeopardize the region itself in a completely different way than it was already in trouble. She could not afford that. "So if your questions do no directly apply to our problem then I kindly ask for you to not ask them. It would be much appreciated." With those words her usual, charming smile crossed her face and she awaited to see what this man would fire at her.

Stopping in his tracks, Gold quirked a brow as he heard a voice call out from behind him. Was someone really about to bother him? Groaning softly, the Johto champion looked over his shoulders with narrowed eyes to see who exactly was approaching him. Part of him was expecting it to be someone that he already knew and had missed seeing, but to his surprise it was some girl he'd never seen before. From how she spoke as she approached him, he could only assume that she recognized who he was though. He supposed it was no surprise. There was a lot out there about him that other trainers could easily access. He hated it. They could easily figure out what pokemon he used in his battles against trainers and even about where he was from as well as other personal information that he rather not have out in the open. That was one of the cons of being a champion for such a long time though. The spotlight was on him far too often in Johto though in recent times there wasn't much going on so he could relax more than he previously could. It didn't mean that people didn't know who he was though. It was hard to go places without being recognized these days and it seemed that even applied to other regions as well. He should have guessed.

Hearing her begin to babble about what her name was and how she had saw him at the briefing made him belief that she was only after him for the very reason others wanted to approach him; they wanted to be able to say they had met a famous trainer. However, the question that followed almost took him off guard. It made his thinking take a complete turn. She wasn't after him because she was having some fangirl moment. No, she had sought him out about the clone thing. Did that mean she was planning on trying to tag along with him? He had never been one that worked well with others. Crystal would attest to that in a heartbeat if she were here. If anything she always had to drag him out of getting into trouble and tried to keep him from doing something stupid on his own. It certainly got annoying, but she kept doing it anyways. Here he thought he might at least be free of any kind of influence for awhile. He wasn't against the idea of having someone else around, but if they slowed him down or held him back from accomplishing what he was trying to do then he'd have a problem especially since his main goal wasn't necessarily to focus on the clone pokemon. Of course he wasn't entirely against helping out, but he saw much bigger threats than the average cloned pokemon.

Deciding to break his silence, Gold rolled his shoulders back as he turned himself to face Gracidea better. "I'm guessing this is pointless since it seems to you are at least somewhat aware of who I am, but the name's Gold, Johto's long serving champion and hero," he stated as a smirk crossed his lips. "As for your question, I'm here for something like that I suppose." It wasn't a lie, though it definitely wasn't a direct answer either. If he flat out stated that he had only come to deal with certain clone legendaries that'd probably give off the wrong idea. As much as he didn't care what others thought, he figured it was best to keep his own intentions to himself for the time being. "Is there some reason you're asking me this?"

Caelan nodded as she told him she might not be able to answer his questions "I only have a few questions, and I'm sure you can answer them. My first question is if there's any compensation for helping you. I'm not saying I won't help for free, but I just like to cover my bases. My second question is actually very important. You didn't happen to create a clone of Mewtwo, did you? Mewtwo is a clone to begin with, and just like the clones here, its creators lost control of it. I don't know exactly what might happen, but a clone of a clone may cause some trouble, and I just want to be sure. This next one is my last one. I have colleagues all over the world. I could easily have them import supplies, food, Poke Balls, medicine, you name it, I can get it here. Would you want me to make arrangements for that?" Once Caelan finished his questions, he stayed quiet to let Millicent answer them

Merle almost couldn't believe his luck. This continent had so many treasures, he couldn't believe he hadn't heard about any of them earlier. There were rumors of some special power orbs on Dragonlea Island, and there were Ho-oh and Lugia feathers on display at the museum at the very town he was in! What a profitable region!

Although, there was that problem with the clone pokemon. From what he had heard around the region, something had caused them to go haywire and start attacking humans and regular pokemon alike, and nobody knew what caused it. They might get in his way, but if he found out what was happening with them, maybe even stopped it, then he'd probably profit a lot from it!

He was simply walking on the outskirts of Lorhill Town for now, so his attire didn't gain any attention. Wasn't this town one that was at risk of being overrun? He should probably steal the feathers before then, although if he stayed here and drove them off... no, that'd be a bit too risky. Although Giratina would be able to handle them with ease, he still didn't want to risk it.

So, the briefing had ended. Sigurd looked around a bit, not knowing what to do. He probably wasn't going to talk to anyone, but it also seemed like a good idea to prepare for any possible clone pokemon he might run into. The issues with the clone pokemon had been going on for a year now, and some towns had already been overrun. That didn't sound too bad, until you considered that Team Clone had probably cloned legendaries. Now those were something to fear. But, he also didn't want to waste any time getting to the source of the problem. Not knowing what to do, he just stood there.

Well, these clone pokemon sounded like a serious problem. But, Scarlet couldn't help but wonder what was causing all of this chaos. It didn't sound too much like the Team Plasma incident, but it could be a bit closer to it than on surface level. However, it seemed like the clones attacking happened out of the blue with no prior warning. Somehow they collectively decided to attack, but wouldn't there have been signs of it happening beforehand? Either way, it needed to be dealt with. She saved a region once, she can save one again. It would be good to get to know some people, so Scarlet looked around for some people to talk to.

Flora appreciated the quiet after the region champion began speaking. However, that silence was only momentary, such a shame. She made a beeline towards the exit, talking to any of these people wouldn't do any good. She would much rather be at the Redmaple Forest. She would restore it, using Dialga's power. It would be to the benefit of every pokemon in the area. She looked at the map of Acrea she had picked up when she had first arrived there, but she wasn't too sure she needed it to chart out her normal routes at this point. She would have to walk quite a bit to get back to the Redmaple Forest. Well, she had walked it plenty of times before, and she actually found the walk quite pleasant, at least when she was out of the cities.

Kichirou continued looking off into the distance for a while, internally commenting on how windy it was, until something caught his eye. Was... was that a person? They didn't look like one of the island natives, and they all had evacuated deeper into the island. So, were there still ferries going to the island? Of course, they could have always just swam, but they would be a sitting duck for the aquatic clones. There also seemed to be an odd floating pokemon beside them. But then, he heard a pretty loud screech. Oh snap, that was that one hyper-aggressive Salamence clone. He had fended it off enough times for it to know not to attack him, but it was going straight for that person."Go on, Dragonite! Dragon claw!" Kichirou said, sending out his Dragonite, who started speeding towards the Salamence. Kichirou started running towards the person, help protect them from the Salamence.
