name - Nikolaos Cypriot
gender - Male
age - 15
birthday - April 29th
parents - Alexander Cypriot and Terpsichore, Goddess of Dance and Chorus
powers - Nikolaos' songs possess a power similar to those of the Sirens(not surprising, considering he shares a mother with them). Beyond that, he possesses no extraordinary talents.
weaknesses - Nikolaos' voice is put under great deals of stress should he wish for his song to carry further, though he is working on increasing the range. Also, due to his dislike of fighting, Nikolaos is not as strong as other demigods, though he does make up for this with above average speed and reflexes. This does, however, mean that one-on-one fights are something for him to avoid.
fears - Laryngitis, letting others down
personality - Nikolaos is, at the core of his being, a kind soul who wishes to make others happy with his songs. He abhors the thought of fighting, wishing that the world could be peaceful for all to live in. This doesn't, however, mean that he is unwilling to fight when there is no other option. Nikolaos can be quite feminine in nature, a trait attributed to the fact that he was practically raised in a theater.
history - Sixteen years ago, a young man named Alexander Cypriot was starting to earn fame as a thespian. He was quite skilled, a rising prodigy in the eyes of his co-workers. All this fame caught the eye of a certain muse, Terpsichore. She came to him in the guise of a critic, asking him what he owed his success to. Alexander simply replied, "Success? I'm only going out there to make people happy. If I'm successful in doing that, what more do I need?" This answer moved Terpsichore, awakening a feeling of love that would soon blossom between the two. This love was what led to their son, Nikolaos, being born. However, the muse could no longer stay on earth. She had to return to Olympus to fulfill her duties, and Alexander understood this when the truth was revealed to him. He could not keep Terpsichore to himself, depriving others of the muse they so desperately needed. The two parted, the muse to return to Olympus and the thespian to raise their son. Nikolaos was without a loving family, for Alexander's co-workers served as his aunts, his uncles, his brothers and sisters. The theater became a big part of his life and would remain so for the first thirteen years. However, only a few months before his thirteenth birthday, Nikolaos lost his father to a stage accident. The older Cypriot had been performing, unaware that some of the lights hanging above the stage were not as stable as they should have been. With a sickening crash, they fell on Alexander, crushing him beneath them and fracturing several bones. One of these fragments punctured his heart, bringing to a close the life of a beloved father and a great thespian. Terpsichore came to Nikolaos on his thirteenth birthday, sending him off to Camp Half-Blood to learn more about himself.
