Her rough attitude could be considered tom-boyish since she often dresses in rags and doesn't mind a little rough and tumble once in awhile.

Sapphire was raised by her mother as an only child. Her father left years ago, though she doesn't know much more then that. Seeing as it is a risky topic with anyone that knows about her father, she wasn't able to learn much about him. She has had a seemingly average life, she hasn't done many notable things in her opinion. She is a pretty decent water bender and is still training almost constantly, trying to keep up her skills. She is very independent, her mother is busy working most of the time and Sapphire is left to basically fend for herself, which she is actually a bit grateful for because she feels it helps her grow stronger. Because her mom is gone often she is also able to go places that she likely wouldn't be able to if her mother was watching over her, and so she tends to make short travels when she knows her mothers isn't going to be around.
Personality
Sapphire is usually calm and collected, not many things really get her worked up. She's kind to the people around her, and has a good common sense. She loves to explore, but sometimes she is too adventurous for her own good and that can lead to trouble. Then again, she always seems to find a way out of trouble too, she is pretty good when it comes to acting and making things up.

The outdoors, being around and in water along with bending it, feeling like she has a purpose
Dislikes
Being bossed around, feeling controlled, and

Although she doesn't really put any thought into it, she is pansexual. She likes people for who they are as a person regardless of their gender.
