- Finbar, of course, had the urge to take the Treeko. It was the most connected to nature, something that he'd been mesmerized by since he was a mere newborn. After taking the supplies given to him, he gave Professor Birch a polite farewell, and calmly exited the lab. Finding some space from the others, he slid his thumb onto the button in the center of the Pokéball, throwing it up in the air. Soon, his partner revealed itself, and a soft smile slid onto his face. "Hey," he spoke gently, "I suppose you and I are partners now, huh?" He gently patted it's head, watching as it's large yellow eyes peered up at him. "I think I'll be naming you Rover, is that okay?"The Treeko, freshly named Rover, remained quiet, a trait that made his training snicker slightly. They were a perfect match- two quiet partners on a journey together. It would make things a little easier for the newbie.
