The nineteen year old stands at about 6' 0" even. Tai suspects that she gets her height from her tall father, as he was about 6'3 1/2", and she has no clue about her mother's height or if she inherited her height from both parents, if so. The brunette has an average length torso, so she automatically gets most of her height from her long legs.

Her left eye is colored in a deep violet shade ringed with dark lavenders, lilacs, indigos, pacific blues, and purples. Along the outside of her iris is a ring of dark violet. In the middle of it all: the violet ring fades into a shade of pacific blue, fades into a small ring of lilac and lavender tint, and finally reaches her pupil. The ring around her pupil fades with three different shades: first indigo, then a purple color, and finally a deep violet. Her right eye is azure blue, a medley of brilliant blues. At the edge of her iris, there is a thin, but defined ring of navy blue. In the middle of her iris, there seems to be a pool of bright, brilliant pacific blues, soft baby blues, and sky blues. The ring around her pupil fades from the bright pool of pacific blues to the same navy blue around the outer edge of her iris, yet a somewhat light shade. The birth defect of her eyes is named heterochromia, taking her father's blue eyes and has no clue to where her violet eye color from, possibly from her mother. It is unknown to her. With big eyes, Tai also has a set of long, full dark brown, almost black, eyelashes to complete the look.

Tai's hair has a very wavy effect to it, but near her roots, her hair tends to straighten out a bit. Short, "baby" hairs spiraling off her parting area is common for her. Some random locks of her hair tend to be a lighter shade of brown, but her main and natural color is a dark chestnut brown. She has different shades of purple for highlights at random through her hair and shades of blue for lowlights at random through her hair. It is usually she or a friend who will dye her strands, if and when, she has time. Tai's hair is layered with long, thick, opulent layers. Falling just at the middle of her thighs, the brunette has more-than-average, long hair, that is usually always in a long, quick braid or when she sleeps, a messy, poorly put up bun. No one hardly sees her without a braid, it's very rare for her to leave her hair down. Her hair is parted to the side, almost at the end of her left eyebrow. Her bangs seem to sweep down at an angle with a soft wave to them, just above her eyes.

Tai's skin is that of copper and bronze, almost. She has tanned skin with multiple scars and bruises from over the years, though mainly from her abusive childhood. Yet, to a few birth defects, Tai had gained "birthmarks," you could say, or splotches of lighter tanned skin. The splotches, spots, and patches of skin are at random along her body. Her face and neck don't have as much to notice. There a few small clusters of dots along the side of her neck and a few kissing her cheeks and forehead, almost like freckles. The pigment of the spots on her skin is fairly lighter than the darker pigment surrounding the spots. Oh her left shoulder blade is a patch that is her largest: it is a large patch that seems to sprinkle out into less dense spots over to her right shoulder blade. The patch has smaller dots and spots surrounding it's rugged patch then sweeps across her skin in smaller and less denser patches until her right shoulder blade where only small splotches and clusters of dots are seen. Some even said it rather common in some people, just that she has a greater density of it. Her skin disorder is relate to that of her heterochromic eyes. Tai also has a few tattoos along her body: on the top of her right foot is a tattoo of a black and white paint horse; on her left thigh is a plain black tattoo of an old tape cassette; on her back is located a large, blooming, colorful Japanese cherry blossom tree and another colorful cherry blossom branch weaving up on her left hip and side; on her left arm is a plain black tattoo of a large feather fading into bird silhouettes at the tip; on the top of her neck on the bottom of her hairline is a small heart outlined in a dark red then filled in with a lighter shade of read; just below the heart is locate a small buck with tall grass fading over the legs and small white spots on his haunches and it is black in color; on her right upper arm is a dream catcher with long feathers flowing down in different directions and is black in color; and finally on her shoulder is a rose vine weaving around an anchor of white, pink, and red roses with dark green-blue vines and leaves. Tai also doesn't have many or extreme piercings, besides the same number of piercings on each ear: two normal ear piercings, two cartilage piercings, and normally wears some type of earring cuff on her right ear.

Tai's head looks to be about the shape of an oval, or maybe some what of a heart shape, yet she thinks it as an oval shape. She's has semi-high cheekbones and an average nose, that isn't too large or small, to complement her facial structure. With a set of full, pale pink lips to complete the look, her eyebrows have a slender and nice arching look to them.

Tai has her curves in all the right places. Built very much of that of a gymnast, or that of a dancer, she obtains strong arms and legs, along with a limber and very flexible build. Her legs muscles are more defined than her arms as she has more muscle mass on her thighs and calves. Having long legs and lithe arms gives Tai a slight advantage to when escaping from an opponent.. Typically, Tai is very limber, for example: a dancer or gymnast. This makes it easier to dodge attacks, but because of her height and size, she doesn't always make good timing. Tai has long, lithe arms that are rather strong, yet don't look it. When actually fighting, her arms' strength is more noticeable, but at any other time, it usually gets unnoticed. Tai usually has good posture, for the most part, unless she's having an off or a lazy day, then she just lounges around. Not having a care in the world about her posture.

Tai prefers to wear any style of jeans or shorts that are: acid washed, galaxy themed, ombre dipped, studded, some type of color, has some type of print or design on it, or is distressed. Most of her top garments are graphic tees, t-shirts, baggy, long sleeved-shirts that have a stretchable cuff, and tank/muscle tops. She will wear a parka, winter gloves, or any type of hoodie when it is the winter season or just a bit chilly and she will wear a hoodie. The only shoes she owns are a pair of old, worn converse, sneakers, black combat, and insulated winter boots. When riding, she has some sort of t-shirt or tank top with a black, leather riding helmet, black or khaki riding pants, and black riding boots.

Taighlare is a tomboy, plain and simple. The brunette can be sarcastic, playful, carefree, laid-back, and out-going. The on the other hand, she’s rather serious at times. Rational, cold-toned, aloof, and reserved. Most of the time, she is rather high-spirited and boldly speaks her word, sticking to what her values, morals, beliefs, etc. Brave, bold, protective, and strong, would probably be a few words to describe a side of her personality in all along with awkward. Sometimes, Tai doesn’t get what to say at times and stays rather quiet for a while or she'll say something she'll regret. The girl is flexible in more ways than one. She’s always planning something to flex her schedule if she has to fit something in last minute, so maybe she's also a bit of a crammer or precrastinator. On Tai's athletic terms with flexibility: dancing, sports, fighting|sparring {whatever you prefer}, or horseback riding. Tai was born to a loving and average couple, but one day her mother just went up and disappeared. She doesn't know anything of her mother, not her looks, personality, reasons for leaving whether it be death, not ready for a child, or not loving her father. Whatever it may have been with her mother, Tai never knew. She never knew since her father refused to talk of the woman. She was taught French by her father as it was his and now her heritage. Her grandparents had come from France years ago and had her father in the United States. She was taught to speak it as her main language, of course, next to English. Tai was also taught to read and write, until her father started to act different and not teach her anymore. She took it upon herself to continue her studies, but was fluent in speaking French as all her father would was speak French when he talked with her. He expected his daughter to at least know his language verbally. Once about three or four years of age, her father was a still good man and father and gave her two objects that had belonged to her mother: a silver dagger with an intricate gold design and a crystal spiraled with aluminum and hung by a thin, velvety leather string. After that, things went downhill for her when she turned six as her father then chose to remarry and soon became an alcoholic once married again. The vile woman he had married would sometimes have the nerve to slap her if she did something "wrong" in the woman's book. The woman would often call her vulgar names and mumble on why a worthless brat was to be an heiress to the rich stable company her father owned; but it wasn't worth a penny by the time she was nine. Her father became an alcoholic: severely hurt his company and his relationship with his daughter. He would neglect her by avoiding her as she reminded him of his first wife. When he did have communication with Tai, all he ever seemed to do was abuse her, whether it be verbal or physical. He would shout at her in French: tell her how worthless she was, that she was the reason her mother left him, and on rare occasions, absentmindedly, call her vulgar names as the woman did. All she knew was to go to school, practice her English and French, sometimes get yelled at her father or maybe be physically abused on the few times she did have contact with her father, and then chastised by the woman and be verbally abused by her vulgar language. At first, she thought she had done something wrong and would always try to fix anything to make it easier for her father, but nothing seemed to work. After a while, she began to grow cold, distant, reserved, and harbor hatred towards that vile woman he had married. If he hadn't married her, he wouldn't had turned into what he did. It happened anyway though and she had no control over what had happened, they were her father's own actions. After she was ten, she decided enough was enough and devised a plan to escape and run away. Taighlare was young and had no idea of safe houses or emergency lines, so all she knew was to run away and escape the people she lived with. She took her yearling filly from the stables and ran away with the paint horse. About a year after she had left her home, she heard news about alcohol poisoning and an overdose for an Andrews family and how their prospering company suddenly took a turn for the worst. She knew it was her father and stepmother. Being Tai, though, she didn't really mourn their deaths, but she had some sympathy for her father. Not so much for the woman.

She took her travels and studies elsewhere: to New York. It took her a long white to travel there, but she ended up in the state of New York, in small farming community. One night, when traveling through, she and her mare were growing weary and exhausted. Especially Tai, she had not eat for a day or two and barely came upon food for herself. It was a bit easier for the mare as she just ate the grass and drank whatever fresh water they came upon. They stow away in a large barn at night, Taighlare tying her paint horse to a pole for the night and sneaking up the loft to sleep in the hay there. In the morning, she was found by three brothers and woken up, wondering who the girl was and her horse. Tai was a bit scared of the younger brothers as they kept asking a lot of questions and said they should tell their parents. She tried to convince them not to, but of the youngest snuck off to tell their parents. Tai was fearful for what the adults might do to her for trespassing, even if she was a child. Then again, she was skeptical of all adults, not really knowing how they act towards children as her experience with her own parents wasn't the best. The three brothers' parents were glad to welcome the girl, though, much to her surprise and hesitation. She was asked many questions ranging from who she was, why she was alone, if she went to school, and what her life was before this event. She explained her situation to the couple and they were slightly shocked at hearing her slightly unrealistic tale. They accepted it as the truth, though, as many scars and bruises on her body would be explained. They took her to an orphanage, but she begged and begged, pleaded even, not to be taken there as she's heard many stories. The three brothers even tried to plead their parents into keeping her, as if she were some lost stray. They hesitantly agreed with this and went to the child services to see if they could possibly adopt Tai and keep her as their own. It took quite a few months, but Tai's records were soon found and all her information on who she was, or at least what was known about her. The family that ended up become her legal guardians were the Dales. She was adopted finally after a long and gruelling process of going through all the legal documents and fees and papers. She still kept her name, not really wanting to change it to Dales, and was quick to fit into the Dales' daily life. Her new adopted brothers were: Jett, a laid-back red-head and the oldest of the three brothers, Derek, a prankster with solid black hair and he was the second oldest, and finally, a bit shy and very friendly blonde, the youngest brother, Kade. She never really thought of them as her brothers, but she cared for them in that sense. They were her best friends and the four were close as two peas in pod. She attended a school near by while the brothers attended another school nearby they had already been in for a while. The four went almost everywhere together and each was extremely protective over the next. Life went on though and it finally became normal for Tai, she went through it like any other teen. Though, she hid things away from her new family, keeping it to herself and working through her past's problems, not wanting to drag them into it. Slowly, she started to open up to Derek and he became a rather big help in her recuperation and therapy of dealing with her stress from remembering her childhood before being adopted by the Dales couple. Jett and Kade eventually were lent in on her problems as well and aided with helping their friend through it. She turned all right though and had a pretty normal life after that, even with her scars and all. Since Tai was not in school for about a year when she was younger, during the time she was on the run, she was held back a year. Even though she was a year older than Jett, she ended up being in the same grade as him while Derek was a grade beneath them and Kade two grades beneath them. Each brother was about a year older than the next: Jett was a year older than Derek and two years older than Kade, Derek was only a year older than Kade, and Kade was the youngest. The four friends had many adventures together, until Kade turned sixteen, or was around that age. For some reason, none ever specified, they ran away from the Dales' home, but their parents didn't seem to worry. Whatever happened that day, none ever spoke of it.

Tai and Jett became their guardians, or looked over them at least as Derek was only seventeen and Kade only sixteen. They travelled the streets of the bigger cities in New York. They attended a high school nearby as Taighlare and Jett were still seniors, though Tai was nineteen. The four ended up coming across a group a group of teens around their age: Faolon, 19, Blu & Ari, twins, 17, Aero, 17, and Shep, 18. They took care of each other and grew to become closely knit. Tai and Faolon took care of money for the most part and Jett and Shep pitched in as they were eighteen and could get good paying jobs. The girls ended up renting an apartment and stayed together while the guys took care of their own accommodations in an apartment room next to theirs so the group was still together. It wasn't long before a girl of Tai's and Faolon's age to show up and join their group as well: Tsubaki, 19. She helped with money and lived with the girls in their apartment.

Taighlare is currently working in a music shop with an older man who owns the place. The pay is good and the location of the shop is even better: downtown Manhattan. She lives a bit further out of the city with her friends, but doesn't mind it. She has her motorcycle as transportation. Recently, she got caught up in an internship with the band One Direction. The owner of the store she works for pulled some strings and some how got her signed up for the internship. It wasn't until she found the letter addressed to her about it from Simon Cowell that she became aware of this. She's a bit hesitant to leave her friends, but they encouraged her to take it. So, now, she's packing to leave for her songwriting internship and go on tour with one of the world's most popular bands that young girls seem to go crazy for. It also seems that she'll be housing with one of the band mates.

"The man and woman who raised me? I would not refer to my biological father as my parent... My stepmother? She was a horrid woman to me, along with my father. After I was five, he became a person I could no longer respect. He was an alcoholic and a terrible father to me. He was just broken up inside by my mother's leave or death. I'm not sure what had happened to her before I turned a year old... My biological mother was never spoke of to me as a child, or shown a picture of, so I know nothin' of her looks or who she was as a person. "My personality.... I'd describe myself as being... a geek. I'm a self proclaimed TV geek. But I'm also sweet and kinda shy. Most people who know me don't seem to hate me, so I guess that's a good thing.....also. Don't expect to get into a conversation with me and have me not reference a movie, tv show, or book i like.
My nickname of firefly I have for 2 reasons, 1 it's a show i'm mildly obsessed with, and 2, i'm extremely bright, as in intelligent. I'm good at what I do, dealing with tech, I could probably build a mostly working ironman suit in my spare time if I wanted to.... but mostly I just like customizing and upgrading my computer... I also help my sister sometimes with electronic components of cosplay things.”
