Shadow Link chased through the forest after his enemy, the opposite of himself. Epona, his enemy, Link's, horse reared up on her hind legs and hit Shadow Link in the head. The shadow of a hero jumped onto the horse's back and held his sword to Link's neck. Link backflipped off the horse and ran deeper into the shadowy forest. Good, he's right where I want him. Shadow Link thought. He raced forward into the shadows and surveyed his surroundings. His opponent couldn't see in the darkness like he could. Link was hiding behind a tree, ready to strike if he heard anything. Shadow Link kicked Link to the ground and was about to kill him when he heard noise in the forest behind him....

Malon stopped as she heard something. What could it be? Malon thought. Malon took out her knife. She was a little bit scared. She stood very still. She didn't want to be caught. She was waiting for a sound to know what was going on. She peeked through some bushes but she couldn't see anything. But she knew someone was walking toward the bushes. She held her knife ready to attack.

Shadow Link knocked Link out by kicking his head and turned around. He was facing a teenage girl with strawberry blonde hair. She had a knife in her hand, but he knew that he could beat her if he wanted to. "Who are you and what do you want?" he asked coldly.
