Douglas Emil Radke is his name in its entirety -and if the thought of calling him "Doug" so much as flits through your mind, he'll make sure you'll be regretting it for a long while. He views nicknames as demeaning, and so only allows himself to address other people by them, as often as he can manage.
He stands at an acceptable 5"9 (or 1.8 metres in metric terms). His eyes are a muddy shade of brown, and there is a perpetual shadow of stubble across the lower half of his face. His hairline is beginning to retreat, to his absolute mortification, but it is one of the consequences of age. He is going on his 40th year.
In terms of his temperament -he is renowned for his facetious manner, and unorthodox approach to, well, most everything. He is jocular, although generally approaching the more satiric edge of the word, outwardly confident, and suffering from [free-standing, primary] insomnia. He is a skilled violinist, and a coward. He's all bark and no bite, in other words. His weapons are his words, but he is incapable of trading physical blows. Cynicism is another of his defining traits, and he had a tendency to be acerbic in his speech.
Douglas is a water-bender, although he has received very little training, and thus cannot effect his abilities with anything approaching competency.

Hello! Please read this. My name is Torvald. I am called Tor. That is not my birth name, because I don't know it. When I first came on board, everyone called me Navigator, because that was what I could do. I read star-maps, and trace the currents of the stars with my hands.

I can't speak. I am mute. The crew has investigated fixing my voice, but I have no desire to be altered. When you cannot speak, every word matters. To forestall your questions, I do not want a text-to-speech robot to translate for me. I do not like typing to communicate. My words are my own, when I write, when every word is written by my hand in my ink. I make my own, with charcoal and oil from the engines, so the words are mine. Do not pity me. I will know it; I am very good at reading body-language.

As for other information about me, I have reached twenty-two years of age at least. I am an airbender, and I love to fly. My favorite food is celery. I enjoy reading and may borrow your books. Itchy trigger fingered, yet undoubtedly friendly, Angelo can be somewhat rash, though won't usually shoot unless told to. With his 20/20 vision, and the fact he notices movements easily, he was a pretty dang good choice for the position, though admittedly, he does have a slight fear of heights.
Easy to laugh, and nearly always smiling, he's a really good nature person, though if signaled, he could easily shoot you down without a second thought, pretty cold as he doesn't usually feel attachment to other people.

Black shaggy hair, small bead, tan skin, pretty short; 5'3, lanky, usually wears button-up shirts and baggy pants, big boots.
