that she's the brains. although to most
wren seems annoying and childish, she's
actually quite pensive. be careful around
her - she knows what she's doing when it
comes to strategy, but not so much ex-
ecution. love's not a priority to her. the
only one she might like is possibly rich-
ard. she's friends with rich, and is cur-
rently at the meeting place [bench] tal-
king to no one. the ones tagged are

♛ wren sat, feet swinging lightly, perched on a bench in the central circle of town. the others were supposedly going to meet her here. wren knew they didn't all see eye to eye on everything. but when you were different you stuck with people like you, personality conflicts or no. and there were only eight of them anyways. wren whipped out her phone, checking her messages. nothing. were they late, or was she just early? her thumb tapped the touchscreen and returned it to the home page. it was three o'clock precisely on october thirty-first. oh yeah, halloween was tonight. no wonder she'd been seeing all those jack-o-lanterns around. wren often tended to forget things such as that. they just slipped her mind. wren might be relatively intelligent, but that didn't mean she has a good memory by any means.

the wind picked up slightly and wren shivered. halloween was always colder then you hoped it would be. that was something she remembered from her childhood. it felt like long ago, though really it wasn't, especially when compared to all of time. her existence was nothing more than a chilly blip on the overall arc of time. speaking of chilly... wren didn't do cold. time to make a graceful departure into the coffee store across the road. from there she'd be able to see the meeting spot, and could leave quickly to get there - back to the bench, that is - when everyone showed up. if they showed up. they'd better. she wasn't going to be the only one, was she? wren rose from her seat, wincing as the blood rushed into her legs. sometimes she wished the whole were-person thing came with more perks in human form. though turning into a wolf wasn't all that bad of a thing. even if they needed practice working as a team - that was why they were meeting, after all. to practice. these thoughts filled her mind as she almost stepped off the curb into what passed for traffic here - a small convoy of cars and pickup trucks whizzed past. wren leapt back onto the curb, gasping. close call. karma was not in her favor today. maybe she'd just wait it out at the appointed spot.

as wren sat, she couldn't help but hope that rich showed up. neither of them were exactly part of the team yet, though wren wanted to be. and he was kind of her only friend. unless you counted richard, mr. eternal flirt, and wren sure didn't. he only talked to her because she was of the opposite gender. but it was definitely funny watching all the relationships in the pack play out over time, like some teenage soap opera. that part was definitely a plus.

[ so yeah, crappy starter post. but this would be shorter than average.
so essentially what's happening is the team is all meeting up in town to go out of town and practice working as a team, following the commands of toby and hermione and stuff. remember that no one in town knows what they are, so... yeah. if your characters need relationships pm me and i'll find a way to work it out. that's pretty much it.
