Jen normally wears grey, black or white, though she does wear blue quite often as it brings out the colour in her eyes. Jen prefers just normal clothes that aren't expensive or anything, clothes that just everyday ordinary people wear, though she does prefer knitted merino wool jumpers. Jen likes to wear boots and flats, Vans or Converses. Her hair is usually tied up either in a pony-tail or a bun. She wears a pair of black framed glasses only when she is reading or writing.

๑ memoir :: Brought up in a big house as an only child, Jennifer was pampered and given anything she wanted. With her parents always working or travelling, going off to parties all over the world, she was quite lonely. Even with all the toys - doll houses, teddy bears and endless colouring books, the start of her childhood wasn't an extremely happy one. She couldn't really remember ever spending a lot of time with her parents apart from those two times they took her travelling, but that was all before she was taken into the Institute of the Dauntless aged 5. Her parents couldn't care less, although they loved her, they were too busy to look after her and to have their daughter invited to go to a boarding school was just fantastic.

Jennifer could remember those first days when she first developed her powers to control the element - Air. She was going out shopping with her nanny who was employed to look after her. The nanny was quite a rude one and paid no attention to Jennifer whatsoever, she was just looking after little Jen for the money. They had just come out of the mall after buying some balloons and party items to put around the house for Jennifer's 5th birthday when the nanny stopped to start flirting with a taxi driver. It was quite a windy day and it had just rained, it was so cold that Jennifer just wanted to go home. The nanny wouldn't budge and just told Jennifer to shut up. That was when Jennifer wished that the wind would knock the nanny over and send her face down into the wet grass. She imagined herself as the wind and moved her hand in the direction she wanted the wind to go and then well, you probably know what happened. The nanny quit the job after that and a few days after her birthday, Jennifer was found by a Soul Trainer and taken to the Insitute.

Jennifer has a positive and outgoing personality, making her an easy person to talk to. With her bubbly and funny personality, it is never a bore to be around her. Although being quite shy when she first arrived at the Institute, after all she had never had many friends, being kept in her house with only toys to be happy when she was young, Jennifer soon crawled out of her shell and her personality turned from shy to outgoing. She absolutely loved the feeling of helping people, it allowed her to make others more confident about themselves. But, Jennifer was a double sided coin, she had a serious side. She was very serious about learning to become a Soul Trainer and to go up the ranks until she became a Soul Captain. Studying hard and paying attention in classes, Jennifer took anything to do with education and her role as a student at the Institute of the Dauntless very seriously and could often be found in the library with a pile of books next to her. And although Jennifer loved to help others, she could get quite impatient as well. She didn't like to repeat herself, saying something once or twice was enough in her opinion and with her attitude, she would become annoyed easily. As a well-known student at the Institute, especially amongst the members of her rank, most people knew her and knew not to talk to her when she was annoyed.
