Going to start if no one minds, just jump in -

Nina -
/Great, thunder and lightening/ and she thought looking out the plane windows as it began it's decent. The polite had convinced her they weren't in any danger of the lightening, but she hadn't understood what he meant. She was late to arrive, maybe it was because she had no home so it had taken people longer to track her down, but anyway classes started tomorrow, check in and arrival had been the whole last week. As the plane touched down and slowed to a stop she had to force herself to calm down, if she let fear control her she would lose control....
She stood left the plane, was told her few belongings would be taken to her room for her and ran for the main building, head duck from the pouring rain.

Mel had been skipping down a hall in the school, when she heard a plane. Wonder who that could be? She wondered, as she stared to walk to the entrance of the building to see who it was.

Nina got out of the rain and looked around the building, the huge castle...she had never been in a place like this, but then again she had lived on the streets most of her life. She pulled off her soaked sports jacket and shook out her hair. /Now what?/ she thought completely lost.

Mel walked out into the rain, enjoying it. She saw the girl, and ran up to "Hi, I'm Malia, who are you?" she asked, messing with her soaking wet blonde hair.

Nina looked at Malia unsure, she had always tried to advoid other people, it was the safest way to live on the streets. "Nina" she replied wearily then thought for a moment and asked, "Um, i just got here, where do i go to, like, check in?"

Claire was wandering the hallways, trying to get used to the huge building. Although she was having trouble because it was so large, and she wasn't the most coordinated person in the world. She looked around, recognizing the area as the entrance.

There was a scream of excitement then a loud, "Look out!" toward Claire who stood at the end of the stairs towards the entrance where Nina and Mel were talking. About a flight of stairs above her and moving fast was Alex on a sled made completely of Ice. He was sledding down the stairs and was about to collide into Claire.

Claire looked up suddenly when she heard Alex shout, and stood still in shock for a moment. "Wha-" She said as she realized she was going to get hit if she didn't move. Eyes wide, she ran out of the way and curled into a ball, scared. "Wha-what are you doing riding a sled down the stairs?!" She said loudly to Alex.
