"My name is Skylar Taylor. I'm not telling you my middle name. Why? 'Cause I don't like you." Pronounced Sky / ler. Tay / lor. Her first name means 'the sky'. Creative right? Skylar believes that her mother named her. Skylar's mom was one of those drug addict, hippy people. She would always have a cloud of maharaja around her head. Not literately, but you know what I mean. She was born in a small hospital in Tennessee. Her father didn't want anything to do with her, since he wasn't her real father to begin with. Skylar's mother had affairs with many men, that her father didn't know about until when she was born. So, Skylar doesn't know her biological father. As you can see, Skylar's family isn't the greatest. Her father would beat her, and rape her when she was only seven. And her mother wouldn't do anything about it. Social services took her away from her 'family' when she was thirteen years old. She didn't have any family other then her mother and fake-father, so she went through many homes and families. But no one ever want to keep her.
When you first meet Skylar, she would seem like a b*tch who doesn't care about the world, or anyone else. Someone who make everyone's life a living hell, since her is horrible. And that if she didn't like you, you would know because she would tell you straight up. But really, Skylar is just a scared girl, who hasn't been loved or cared for. She puts up the 'bad @ss' act because she doesn't want to get hurt again. Skylar is the type of girl who your parents would warn you about. She drinks, smokes, steals, picks-locks. Anything you could think of. It makes her forget about her crappy life, and let loose. Be a firework. Under this scared, angry shell; Skylar is kind and sweet. She's funny and creative. But would anyone stick around to get to know the real her?

'"Don't like it? Wait, of course you do. You keep staring." Skylar is lovely, I'm not going to lie. She has a slender, flexible body. Which is great for dancing with. She has the beat and the moves. She let's the music move through her, in a sexy, or seductive way. Maybe peaceful, or just wild. She's got it. Her legs are short, so she would have to look up at people instead of down. Her arms are the appropriate size, her hands are small, with thin fingers. Good to play the piano with, but she doesn't. Skylar has long blond hair, that is naturally wavy, Sometimes one side is wavier then other times. It's so unpredictable. It's like a tumble of blonde seaweed. Her hair reaches about the middle of her ribs, or right below her breast. Sometimes the ends curl in a tease. Her head is in a oval some-what shape. With a smooth and clear skin. Though, she has suffered pimples, but there aren't many scars. Her eye are a bright, captivating green. They are simple beautiful, but she hates them. Her nose is small, like one of those button noses, but her lips are full and luscious. Like a cloud. Wouldn't you like to kiss them?

But yet, she is more like a friend. Someone who everyone could be best friends with. If you got what it takes. She hates those cocky, full of themselves types of guys. They just make her mad, why would anyone like someone like that? It seems like they are to in love with themselves, and not ready for a relationship. If you haven't noticed already, Skylar is straight. She's always has been. She just likes guys, girls are more on the friend side. And will stay that way. Her type of guy would be someone who is creative, they can't boring and lifeless. And that goes onto the next turn on, he has to have a sense of humor, she would most likely fall for someone who could make her laugh. Even when she's upset. Whoever can make her laugh, your in. But, they would have to laugh at her too. Skylar loves to make people laugh. And of course, they would have to be a good friend, and not someone who would push her to far. If you like banging on the first date, Astrid is not the type of girl. She likes to get to know people more.

Her name is something she's quite satisfied with: elegant, signed with a flourish, and intriguingly unique. Arienna was her mother's favorite name as a child. Her father, a man who, despite his imposing demeanor, was quite fond of myths and legends. Chamielle is a play on the name of one of the seven mythical archangels, Chamiel, who is also supposed to be the angel of love. She prefers to be called Kay, though, the name that her mother used to call her. Ari, or Aria, is fine as well.Being called Rose, or Rosie, is something she only tolerates from certain people, however.

Her birthday is January 18th, which could be why she prefers the cold, rather than the heat. Ironically enough, being born in California, she was always subject to warm climates and harsh sunlight. Out of habit, you'll never see her without a pair of sunglasses, SPF 100+ sunscreen, and a bottle of water in her bag, on a day where the sun is particularly bright.

Kay is quite striking, whether or not she chooses to admit it to herself. She is slender and elegantly built, with a small waist that widens outward enough at her hips to give her an hourglass figure, and long legs, toned from running she does. All of her limbs seem deceptively delicate and fragile, from her slim pianist's fingers to her dainty size seven feet.

Dainty facial features give her heart-shaped face a fairy-like quality. Her eyes are a vibrant and engaging shade of blue, framed with long, dark lashes, set beneath finely arched eyebrows, and above a neat, sloping nose that turns up slightly at the tip. A perpetual, faint rose blush dusts her cheekbones, and her lips are a full, lush cupid's bow. Long brown hair naturally highlighted with golden and auburn frames her face and tumbles in waves and curls down to the middle of her back. Even though she tans easily, her skin is on the fairer side, thanks to her dislike of strong sunlight and heat.

Kay is, first and foremost, anyone she needs to be, which is what allows her to be so charismatic. People feel like they've known her since forever, even if they've only just met her; her ability to adapt to whatever type of person the situation calls for, because she wants to satisfy everyone around her -- she enjoys making people smile. She's good at making you feel however she wants you to feel, which is rather useful when she is trying to get what she wants.

Rather secretive, she prefers others not knowing much about her, while she figures out exactly what type of person they are. It's simply that she's incredibly perceptive when it comes to minute details. Body language, reactions, and actions; forget eyes, these are the three things that she considers "windows to the soul". Ironically enough, she doesn't carefully think over her own actions and is rather impulsive, choosing to reflect on her choices after she's made them. Her impulsiveness makes her quick to irritate, but she is awful at holding any sort of long-term grudges.

Kay seems like she's constantly happy, fun-loving, and innocent. Her serious sweet tooth only enhances that angelically serene outer appearance. She's wildly creative and outgoing -- if there's a war of swimming noodles in Target, you can bet she was the one behind it. Her quick wit and sarcasm are a source of humor, as well as a tool for deflecting any questions on the list of those that she doesn't want to answer, and that list definitely isn't a short one. It's easy to forget that everyone has some sort of personal angst when you're around her. She acts like the living embodiment of happy-go-luckiness, of sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Her closet is full of skeletons though, ones that she never hopes to see again in her life. Plagued with nightmares of the murder of her mother, her father's abuse, and the burning of her family's house, she has a mild case of insomnia. At the same time, her fear of the dark makes her long to fall asleep. Loud, sudden noises frighten her. Her ability to mask her emotions is quite deceptive, and while she appears nonchalant when confronted with offensive words, internally, she is anything but. Even with her trusted friends, she is reluctant to complain, or ask for help in any way -- she can't stand being a burden.

He is broad-shouldered, slimming down at his torso, with long legs for powerful strides. With his rugged Southern looks, slight drawl, and tan, he really does look the part of a Southern cowboy. He has a strong, defined jaw line, a straight, elegant nose, and dark, arching eyebrows. Surprisingly long lashes frame his enticing, mischievous eyes, and his full mouth is perpetually curled into a deceptively seductive smirk. His long fingers are almost always found running through or tugging casually on his messy hair.
{ Eye color } Green-gold. With a color that's almost hazel but not quite, they have a surprisingly bright quality and playful feel, contradictory to his usual personality.

{ Personality } Cold, sarcastic, thoughtful, seductive, protective. Seth has a frosty dislike for the company of other people, which is the exact opposite of Kay, and contradicts the fact that he's been taking care of Kay for ages. With her as the exception, he is icily distant from everyone else, preferring to keep to himself. When he's approached by others, his automatic reaction is to become bitingly sarcastic, clearly showing his distaste for your company and his disdain for everything that you are. Especially if you happen to be an angel. Actually, it isn't as if he particularly enjoys the company of other demons, either. He simply finds them more tolerable than the other species. Oddly enough, he makes a hobby out of seducing others, though, angels, demons, and humans alike. He considers them all his prey, and if his prey voluntarily comes to him -- well, he's certainly not complaining. It also makes them easier to distract, or to get what he wants from them, which is actually the main reason why he does it.

He's the type of person who only does things if they benefit him -- everything else is seen as too much of a bother, or as a favor that someone else has to repay eventually. The instinct for survival is the dominant instinct in him, and he seeks his own safety above all else ... except for Kay. For all his coldness and detachment, he is ferociously protective and loyal to those whom he truly cares about, even if he'd never admit it. He takes any harm that may come to them as a personal insult, and the phrase silent but deadly is utterly accurate when describing his methods of revenge.

With all that time to himself, he has a lot of time to analyze things. While he may seem like he's all brawn, his intelligence is actually quite formidable as well. For a demon, he is strangely intrigued by book knowledge. All that time thinking makes him strategic and cunning, always thinking ahead to plan his next move. Careful and meticulous, calculating and violent.
