The new world (v.2)

Shiko started to sing louder and danced around. He was extremely bored. He looked to the side and his dragon, the death god he made a contract with, appeared behind him. It's name was Shiki. Shiko always thought it was wierd that the God had a very similar name to his but he ignored it. Shiki was as tall as Shiko due to being a contractor, pretty much he is ten times bigger. The God was pure red with bright white spikes and the god has three white glowing eyes. The God would sometimes be in a skeleton dragon form just because. "Anything to kill? I'm starved." The God growled with a teenish voice. "Not yet." Shiko sang.

Jun sat in the middle of a large pond, causing ripples to go through the water. She stood up and squeezed water out of her long hair. She could sit or sleep on top of the water, but she still got wet, but she didn't really mind. Jun looked up at the sky, it seemed to be early morning.

Zenith rolled off the branch, landing lightly as she flicked her ears. She pinned her ears back as she heard more of the annoying singing and stretched once more, arching her back like a cat as her tail brushed the ground. She stood silently for a moment,curious of the singing but decided to ignore it, heading out of the woods as she wove fire between her fingers. She let out a purr as the sun touched her tanned skin, green eyes looking up at the clouds as she perked her ears.

Shiko froze as he heard a faint sound. Curiously he prowled quietly out of the woods and spotted a cat girl...no cheetah. What species? He sniffed the air. King cheetah hmm and the smell of fire too. "Hello there." He said happily as he walked out of the bushes towards the girl. Shiki came out with Shiko and stood beside him. If she was a normal citizen then she should know who he was. His right white-red ear flicked slightly.

Kotaru finally got out of the cave. He flinched as the sunlight hit his face.With a sigh he crossed the border. He soon stummbled across a pond. He bent down to drink some water, unaware of the girl infront of him.

''Hi there'' Zenith said, turning to look at who'd spoken and froze, focusing on Shiki. The fire in her hand dissolved into smoke as her dark green eyes widened. ''T-That's the God of Death'' She mumbled,more to herself as her eyes returned to Shiko. She pinned her ears to her brown hair, unsure how she should be reacting.

"Yes, we all know that! It's not really shoking. If you lived here for a while you should know who Shiko is." The Death God growled. Shiko placed his hand on the Gods neck and said "Peace Shiki. We've come for guards, not the innocent." Shiki lowered his head and grumbled. "But her soul smells delicious." Shiko laughed. "Yah, I know. I can smell it too." Shiko's red eyes locked gaze with the girls green eyes. "So, your name is Zenith? Your soul says it all. No parents, a orphan, coma. Your soul is screaming all of this, wanting someone who can see it to know. A orange soul of flames. A fighter." Shiko said as he listened and examined this girls soul.

Zenith's widened eyes narrowed into a slight glare. ''Yes, I'm Zenith and as a Soul reader you'd know I don't know you 'Shiko''' She said, flicking her tail behind her. She did however shoot Shiki a weary look at the mention of eating her soul. Her green gaze returned to Shiko, just hoping he'd control the god.

Jun felt something else touch the water she was on. She spun around quickly, noticing a boy drinking her pond's water. She stood up and walked over to him, walking along the water as if it was simply a price of fabric spread over the ground. She stared at him coldly, " Who are you?" she asked.

Shiko shrugged and laughed. "Well lets just say I'm a contractor. The kingdoms worse enemy along with the exiled prince Kotaru. I'm the one that the King warns the villagers of." He looked to the right and saw three heavily armed men patrolling the forest. "Ah my favorite prey. Shiki." The God growled and lunged at one guard. The guard fell and was killed. Shiko lunged at another and his hand seemed to pass through the mans chest. He held some green orb thing and tossed it to Shiki. The dragon caught it in midair and are it. The 2nd guard bellowed in pain and clawed at his chest, he then died. The last tried to slice Shiko but Shiko bit his finger and his blood formed into a sythe. The last guard dies by Shiko's hand. "Eat up Shiki." He said to the God who started to eat the souls.

Kotaru looked up, showing his purplish eyes, purple-black hair, wolf ears, and a mark of a prince in his neck. The mark was a star but had a slash through it to show he was exiled. "Who are you." He asked the girl with a emotionless face and voice.

Zenith pinned her ears back in fear, backing away from the boy and God. ''Uh huh,Well I think I'll be going, I prefer to stay on the guards good sides, means I can sleep anywhere without fear'' She said, a bit frightened by the fight.
