Ruka Cossey

District:: 8
Age:: 14
Gender:: Male
Appearance:: Witty.
Personality:: Ruka is a smart boy, and because of his small stature, he can easily stay in the treetops. He is very clever, and always watches his back, even though he knows that his chances of winning are slim to none. He waits for the night that the careers will get to him, because he knows they will. Until then his plan is to steal from their food supplies, and keep himself alive and well as long as he can.
History:: Ruka was the son of a shoemaker. He is good working with needles, even through thick fabric, and his hands are strong. They can perform delicate tasks as well, anything from intricate knots to complex snares. He rates his survival skills as rather high, but his fighting skills are far to low to even hint at any use.
Family:: Mallia Cossey was Ruka's mother. She passed away three years ago at age 39.
Sarnath Cossey is Ruka's father. He is a strict man, and doesn't allow any dawdling in thier family business.
Mirnith is Ruka's older sister, she is 16 and they were always very close.
Cassidy is one of Ruka's younger sisters, she is 11. Cassidy is spunky and energetic.
Alterri is Ruka's other younger sister. This 9 year old is crafty and gets into trouble a lot.
Crush:: Celestia Fox is 15, and Ruka has had a crush on her since he was 11. They are in the same grade in school, and Celestia likes painting and clothing design.

Games:: She won the 22nd Hunger Games, at age 17.
Personality:: She is still torn about how she had to kill the last boy in the arena, only a 12 year old from district 2. She is a smart player, using wit to outsmart her opponents rather than brute force to kill them. She is very shy.

Bartok Kosmynka

Age:: 37
Gender:: Male
Experience:: Bartok has been a stylist for 18 years, 6 in district 11, 3 in district 9, and 9 in district 8. This will be his 19th year.
Personality:: Bartok is a man who loves to joke around until the last minute. He will joke about everything, pretending to make mistakes, but not actually making mistakes, and generally being a good influence on tributes. But when he needs to he will be serious, since he knows that humor can only get you so far.

Alaren Grenna

Personality:: Alaren gets along well with the tributes, since she is both young, and has taken a tour of several districts. She is able to connect to the tributes more than most prep team members can.

Maosan Paliet

Personality:: Maosan is a cheerful man, but during the games he takes on a serious demeanor. He struggles with the fact that he is preparing the tributes for death, but somehow he manages to do his job well and remain positive enough to not cause depression among his colluges

Personality:: Rainis makes fun of everything, himself, others, capitol, the districts, everything. But most of it isn't him being serious, it's just him trying to keep the tributes and the others around him cheerful.

Ana Grey

Home:: 7
Personality:: Ana is spunky, fun and loves to joke around. She makes and assortment of funny faces on a daily basis, many of them are actually inside jokes with her friends or family, but they are hilarious none the less. She can make a game out of any activity from chopping down trees, to eating lunch out in the forests. She knows trees like the back of her hand, but she also knows of most forest dwelling animals. She entertains her younger sister and brother the best she can at all times, hoping that they will not be chosen for the games.
History:: Ana grew up in a cabin-like house in district 7. Her family was made up of herself, her two parents, her younger brother, and her younger sister. They would go out into the forests every day to cut down trees, like many people in district 7. But her family was still poor, with three growing children in the family, buying food was a very expensive thing. At the age of 12, while she had already been cutting down trees with her father for years, her father taught her how to throw the heavy axes that they were given to cut down trees with. She became very good at hitting moving targets like squirrels and rabbits with them, right across the neck so that they could still be eaten. So she can hunt with her ax as well. When her younger siblings were old enough, they were taught that skill as well.
Family:: Rhonda Grey is Ana's mother. She is a calm woman that doesn't speak much to people outside her family. She is a good mother though, and cares for her kids more than anything in the world.
Joseph Grey is Ana's father. He loves to laugh, and is definely where Ana got her sense of humor. He and Ana spend most of their days together out in the woods cutting down trees.

Mitzel Talla

District:: 4
Age:: 18
Gender:: Male
Appearance:: Arrogant.
Personality:: Mitzel is confident, nothing in the world will change that. Not the Games, not the other Careers, and definetly not the Capitol. He has a bit of an ego, and can come off as controlling, since he hates not being in charge. His parents were rich fishermen, and when he was 16 they gave him the job of being captain of one of their ships. He trained during his spare time, but he definetly has an advantage to his leadership. He knows what he is doing, most of the time. On the rare occasions where he is wrong about something, you won't hear him admit it.
History:: Mitzel grew up being trained to become a career. He volunteered this year, because it was his last chance. He has good command skills, from being put on as captain on one of his parents' fishing ships. They gave him the job for two reasons. One to keep him out of trouble. He couldn't cause trouble if he were out on the ocean commanding a ship. Two to help him prepare for the games. They didn't think the training would be enough for him, and decided that some life experience would help him prepare himself. And a third reason that neither of them would admit- a stronger attachment to home, might convince him that being a volunteer wasn't worth it. His parents were rich fishermen, so he wasn't ever in need.
Family:: Annabeth Talla is his mother. She is caring, but tries her best to hide how hurt she was when he volunteered.
Caleb Talla is Mitzel's father. He has a soft spot for alcohol, but isn't the kind to be drunk all the time. Mitzel being in the games has changed that a bit though, he hasn't been sober since Mitzel volunteered.
Girlfriend:: Molli Becker is Mitzel's girlfriend. They met each other at training, but she didn't volunteer like he did, knowing that he would. She hides the fact that she doesn't think he will win, and stays strong at home, trying to keep his father from drinking away the whole Games.

Personality:: Alletta is not afraid to hide the truth, even though it can hurt people. Rumor has it her anger can kill a person without her even touching them. She is sarcastic and witty.

Rizzak Benton

Experience:: This is his first Hunger Games as a stylist, but he has been on the prep teams for years.
Personality:: Rizzak is a cheerful man, but he is also sarcastic. He can put a negative spin on anything happy, and a positive spin on the most dire of circumstances. He would never harm anyone on purpous though.

Maggie Thomas

Personality:: Maggie is a bubbly girl. She can talk faster and more than any other person she knows. She is a bit hyper, but she loves her new job and does the best she can.

Saigen Joris

Gender:: Male
Personality:: Saigen is a calm man, but he knows how to have a good time. His first impressions of every tribute are usually right, and when they aren't they are usually partly right.

Fanna Loes

Age:: 22
Gender:: Female
Personality:: Fanna's calm demeanor lends well to the job of preparing tributes for death. She may seem shallow, but really it is just her way of hiding her feelings of how horrible what she does is. Not that she doesn't enjoy making people beautiful.

Jonnan Reed

District:: 2
Age:: 18
Gender:: Female
Appearance:: Strong.
Personality:: Jonnan is headstrong, snarky, and stubborn. She won't do something she doesn't want to do, I challenge you to get her to do anything else. She can fight very well which makes her very confident in her position in the games. Her headstrong nature can make her push forward into situations that she sometimes regrets, it will probably be her hardest trait to deal with in the games. Once she has made up her mind about something there really isn't anything you can do to change it.
History:: Jonnan grew up working in her father's weapons shop. It was her job to demo the swords they had to potential buyers, all of whom were peacekeepers. Her balance was always the best of their family, so even with large heavy swords, she could be graceful. She found her favorite weapon in her training back home, the bow and arrows.
Family:: Mickey Reed is her older brother, and he is really one of the few friends she has. He became a peacekeeper for their district.
Verity Reed is Jonnan's mother. She has become weak with age and worry, and is often sick.
Benjamin Reed is Jonan's father, he runs a shop that specializes in making and repairing swords for the peacekeepers, who even thought thye don't need them, like them because they make them look strong.

Strengths:: Bow and Arrows (For shooting things.), Swords ("Don't want to meet me with one of those now do you?"), Knives (Stabbing and throwing, but better for stabbing.), Anything else with a blade ("I'm not too picky."), Strong survival skills ("I can live without you, you know.")
Weaknesses:: She trusts people too easily in normal life, she's afraid she will do so here too.

Games:: He won the 18th games, when he was 18.
Personality:: He is strict, but he isn't sarcastic or mean. If you follow all of his rules and get where you need to go on time, he won't bug you about it. He is very reliable on any promises he makes, but you do have to watch his words. Saying is not the same as promising.

Petrai Nomald

Gender:: Female
Experience:: She was the stylist for district three for the past 4 years, but was recently moved up to district 2, so this is her first year here.
Personality:: Petrai is a kind woman, who wouldn't hurt a fly. She does her best to help her tribute, but there usually isn't much that can change their fate. Her attitude is a bit different this year though, since she has moved up to district two, with careers who are more likely to win.

Arthur Vettis

Gender:: Male
Personality:: Arthur is very joyful, anyone who knows him will tell you they have never seen him frown. He is always singing, laughing, or telling jokes, in fact you usually have to tell him to shut up if you want any sort of quiet.

Corinne Madsmith

Personality:: Corinne is quiet, but that is just because she hates the fact that her life was planned by the capitol. Her parents forced her into the fashion world, and despite herself she enjoys it, so she is quiet and sulky and not much else.

MacKelly Davidson

Gender:: Female
Personality:: MacKelly is a bit of a dreamer, always perfering hippy styles, or just random things. Her voice is a lot deeper than anyone would expect, but she is a kind girl, if a bit bubble headed at times.

Cassalia Finnin

District:: 11
Age:: 13
Gender:: Female
Appearance:: Innocent.
Personality:: Cass is a quiet girl, she can sneak around anything. Because of her small size, she can easily climb through trees, but if the careers found her, or another tribute for that matter, they would make short work of her. She loves bright colors, especially reds and golds. She speaks softly enough to make whole crowds go quiet to hear her, and can say things that will make even her enemies fell sorry for her. Because of her innocent looks and the way she speaks, she thinks she will have a good chance with at getting a sponsor.
History:: Cass never had much food growing up, unlike her older brothers she wasn't big and muscular, so she didn't need to eat as much as they did. She was only a school child when she was reaped as tribute, never having taken the tessarae because her brothers did it for her. Nobody knew her enough to volunteer for her, and her brothers couldn't because they were boys. So she left her district knowing she was going to die. She hasn't shed a tear though, because there is a spark of pride in her that won't let her look weak.
Family:: Jennifer Finnin is Cassalia's mother, and the only female figure in her life. She is a great cook, even though they have only a meager supply of food.
Crag Finnin is Cassalia's father, a strong man who works in the fields for his family, and is rarely home.
Connolly is 15, and Cassalia's closest brother. He is still in school, but does have to go work the fields on weekends.
Tristan is another of Cassalia's brothers. He is the tallest and most muscular of the boys, and works in the fields with their father.
Braire is the only one of Cassalia's brothers to not have to work in the fields. He is 21 years old, and works in a small bakery attached to the house with his 20 year old wife Valerie.
Andrew is the oldest of Cassalia's brothers at 24 years old. He also works in the fields, but returns each night to their home and his wife Susan.
Valerie is Cassalia's sister in law. She is 20 years old, and the two are close, since Cass has to help out somewhere after school, she tends the bakery with Valerie and Braire.
Susan is Cassalia's other sister in law, married to her brother Andrew. Susan works in the orchards, but returns to her husband and his family's house every night. She is 25, and is pregnant with a child.

Personality:: Maria has been one of Cass's close friends for about ten years, since they met at school when they were both little. They were both very quiet girls, so they got along well, even though Maria was 2 years older. Cassalia was very upset when Maria was chosen for the games, but was overjoyed when she returned.

Lucille Tylis

Experience:: This is her first hunger games.
Personality:: Lucy is a loud woman, who loves to design clothing. She gets in arguments with nearly everyone she meets, but tries not to upset her tributes. She demands order from the prep team.

Andrea West

Gender:: Female
Personality:: Andrea is calm. She is a quick worker, often doing her job silently, then talking to whoever she was making beautiful. She wants to get to know the tributes, even though most of them are going to die. This is her first hunger games.

Maichi Noda

Personality:: Maichi tries to be funny. He figures that since the tributes are probably going to die, they may as well be able to enjoy their last days here. He refuses to shed a single tear for any one of them.

Personality:: Nora is a rather mean person, she doesn't like to be around people who talk. She is often snappy and rude, and feels like she is better than everyone else.

Home:: Capitol
Personality:: Amarta loves the Hunger Games, and is always prancing about in beautiful dresses. She loves holding parties during the games for herself and her friends, and they are some of the more extravagant ones around. She is always highly concerned with how she looks, and each year she changes the colors of her highlights. Last year they were pink, this year they are blue and purple. She always sponsors one tribute, picking the one who's entering style looks best.
History:: She grew up in the Capitol, and has never been to the districts. And she doesn't want to either. She likes the capitol and it's parties, finding the comfortable lifestyle very fitting for herself. She grew up with just her mom and her twin brother, and the three of them always loved to go to tours of the arenas from past years. Her uncle visits her occasionally, but since her childhood she has lost contact with most of her family.
Family:: She grew up with her mother and her brother, but they have lost contact and have never been close.
Her uncle Jonah Lee visits her every once and a while, they enjoy laughing at most of the same things.

Personality:: Connolly is a lot like his sister actually. Though he is much more brave than she is, he is also a quiet speaker. He has strong muscles from working in the fields, even though he is still rather thin looking. He is very close to his sister, both in age and in life. Connolly knows that food isn't easy to come by, but he still complains about it around their large dinner table with it's small plates. Connolly does sneak small amounts of grain out of the harvest though, by slipping small handfulls into his slightly to large for him workboots. At home, nobody asks him where he got it.
History:: Connolly is from a family that lives in a rather large, but somewhat shabby house. They were only given this house because of the size of their family, but it is big enough to house more than just them. His two oldest brothers are married, but they still live at home with their wives. In most subjects in school, Connolly isn't doing very well, but he loves the music classes that he has, one for singing and one for song writing. He has always had a beautiful tenor singing voice, and he will often lead songs in the fields while the workers work.
Family:: Jennifer Finnin is Connolly's mother. She is a great cook, even though they have only a meager supply of food.

Personality:: Iris is creative and funny, for the people at the capitol. She enjoys playing jokes on the tributes, and during the non-game part of the year, she loves partying with her friends. She is a bit of a flirt, even when she is in a relationship. Her relationships don't last long, and the boys often become jealous of her nearly constant flirting. Most people don't really know her. There is nothing she likes more than putting unexpected twists into the games, making her an ideal Head Gamemaker.
History:: She grew up in a rich family, and her father was a gamemaker for several years, but he is now retired and lives in an expensive retirement home with her mother. When her father left, she was sad, and decided to apply for a gamemaker position herself. That year she received a letter saying she was the new Head Gamemaker. Five years later, she is finally getting the hand of working in the Gamemaker's room. She looks forward to twisting the games as best she can, to create something interesting that she will be remembered for.
Family:: She doesn't really have any family that is will in to stay with her except her father, all the others really just don't like her.
