Fey smiled, glad to have some company, "Well, let's be on our way then!" He said cheerfully. Fey began to walk down the hall at a rather slow pace, he didn't want to accidentally cause the girl to trip, and he had a whole lot of nothing to do that day, so he might as well take his time in doing things. "I don't believe I know your name Miss, if you be so kind as to tell me, I would greatly appreciate that." Fey said with a small grin.

"Maria Grace, at your service sir-" She stopped unsure of what his name was and wondering if it would be disrespectful to outright ask. This is why a third party was supposed to make introductions, to avoid these awkward situations. Fey was walking terribly slow wich made her anxious since she was embaressed now and wished to flee. That however, was out of the question given his status, not to mention it would be rather rude

"That is true, but-" Serena paused talking as the doors to the dininghall opened and Prince Alexander walked in, with Crystal walking next to him! The princess of Elyadon raised a small eyebrow as Alexander just shove another chair to the royal arrangement for Crystal to sit down. Her gaze moved to Kaleb, and she could tell he would probably be furious. Understandable. This was probably the stupidest thing she had ever seen. Who takes a maid to a royal meeting and allow her to sit with the royals? This went far beyond respect, Serena thought. They were all here for Aiden, to announce his death, and then that happens? The girl averted her gaze and gripped the armrests of her chair as she pushed her frustration away. She simply didn't understand how Alexander could do this to his parents, and his siblings. There would probably be big consequenses for them, since everybody with a brain understood a prince and a maid could not be in a relationship. Serena just looked back at the candle as she managed to hide her frustration pretty well, though she was listening for KC's voice, knowing that if she heard him yell, she would try to calm him back down again.

Alex smiled and entered the room holding Crystal's hand. Saying nothing, he pulled out a chair for her and sat her down at the table.

Crystal smiled nervously, as she entered, her long hair bounced, from the curls. She built up her courage, and smiled at the royals kindly, with a tint of embarrassment. She sat in the seat, after tucking her skirt carefully under her. She sat straight and managed a smiled at Alexander. She swallowed softly and put some hair behind her ears.

Oh this is bad, Arabella thought. Alexander has led her into the cave of wolves. They're going to tear him to shreds... "I see it too," she whispered to her sister. "And this is just ridiculous. As much as she's a good friend, this was to be a dinner for royalty." She looked around the room trying to see if anyone had noticed yet. "What do we do?" she continued in a hushed tone. "Would holding our silence be best?" She looked around the room again, knowing that Serena would say something about it being an improper relationship and that royalty can't be in relationships with commoners. But Arabella knew she wouldn't hear it, all she would be able to do was feel guilty for falling for Patch.

Alex smiled back at Crystal and kissed her on the cheek without an ounce of humiliation. He never enjoyed the snobbery of their family anyway so why couldn't a maid marry a prince like in the fairy tales he was read as a child. Why can't a stable boy a princess? Why can't a peasant a king? *God help me...* he prayed to himself, taking a seat beside Crystal. "Everyone, this is Crystal. We are, um... *sigh* courting each other and I thought it appropriate to bring her since she hopefully one day might become my wife."

Kaleb looked away from his fiance as the trumpets announced yet another important person, his brother. And who was that? The maid? He frowned deeply, masking his father's face, who sat just a few feet away from him. They looked like replicas of each other, one old, one young. He wasn't sure how Alexander managed to squeeze in an extra seat between his own seat and Aria's, but somehow he and the maid fit between the two royal siblings. His brother's words flew above his head, Kaleb not being able to grasp any meaning from the younger prince's sentences. "You what?" he hissed, keeping his voice low and his face passive, although it was seething red. The court drew silent at the image of the maid. One woman fainted, one of Aria's supervisors, he believed. The gentlemen of the court drew out their spectacles so that they may see the girl who had managed to rapture the foolish prince's heart more clearly. "What is she doing here? Father will not be pleased." the prince added, voice harsh, and eyes nearly bulging. This was outrageous. He'd already warned his brother of the consequences he'd get if anyone found out. And he had just declared that the girl may be his wife!

His mother, the high Queen of Avalon, stood and exited the hall without any words. Her eyes were stony as ever, her back straight and her head held high. She was clearly displaying her disgust in her son, as she and her ladies left the grand room. This would be the talk of the town for months, even after he and Serena's engagement was announced.

Tristan choked on the wine he had been sipping while he waited for the last prince to arrive in the hall. The reason he had choked was not of boredom, but of the spectacle in front of him, a prince beside a maid. His eyes bugged out, disgusted and confused. How could Prince Alexander be announcing his courtship with this maid so soon after the eldest Prince of Elyadon's death? It enraged him. He could hear Kaleb practically seething, so many seats away. The Queen of Avalon rose from her seat, cheeks red, and it wasn't the rouge that had been powdered on. She left the room, her ladies in waiting following close behind. They giggled and whispered behind shy glances and fluttering fans. Prince Alexander had caused quite a commotion. Tristan's own parents seemed too weary of the spectacle, his mother still seemingly frozen, and his father keeping his eyes straight ahead. He couldn't say the same for the King of Avalon, though. His face was beaming scarlet, a deep thunderous look upon his face that would frighten away any army of rebels. He stayed seated, although Tristan had an idea that if the court had not been there, the king would be up and yelling. Perhaps commanding the pair of them off to the dungeons to be quartered and sent to all four cornering kingdoms of Avalon.
