Patch smirked and raced after Arabella. He made his stallion zoom through the streets, dodging away from anything in his way. He'd jumped over the log and children, and laughed as the wind blew through his chestnut brown hair, he managed to make it to Arabella. She's a good rider he thought to himself, he smiled. He rode up beside her their faces inches apart, he ran a hand down her cheek to move hair away "My home means nothing to staying near you" he whispered when he leaned forward to her ear.

"You're the best I could ever hope for," she smiled and kissed him quickly, then turned back to the castle. "I'll talk to my father tonight about it, there shouldn't be any problem, but he likes to be kept in the loop." She sighed and looked back at him. "I really don't want to have ot go up there for dinner," she said solemnly. "I'll just be reminded that my brother's gone and that Tristan's going to be king someday. And when that someday comes, my worst fear will be realized. But, for now, I have to go and find Crystal."

Serena remained silent for a few moments, needing time to register what Maria asked her. She soon looked at Maria and gave a small nod. "A bath would be wonderful, Maria." she replied softly. The princess studied her hands for a second. "I already apologize if I say mean things to you. I am clearly not myself today, and don't want you to be offended by any words I don't think through before speaking them aloud."

A small smile crept onto Marias face. "I don't mind your majesty. It's impossible to hold ones tounge constantly, and you do it so well despite all you go through. I promise I won't take anything you say into offence." She said calmly. Serena really did amaze her sometimes. In fact Serena may have been the most well behaved child from either of the royal familys.Maria rang for a servent and instructed them to have a bath prepared for the princess, and soon there was a tub filled with steaming hot water was in the room.

Serena sighed softly. "You don't know half of it." she replied, thanking the servants as her bath was made ready. The princess stood up and walked behind the changing screen. Serena rolled her shoulders as she tried to relax herself a tiny little bit, before she started to take off her dress so she could take a bath.

Hensley had been true to his word, for moments after Tristan closed his chamber door behind himself, a servant had arrived, knocking on the door. The prince bid him entrance, and the servant came in, black garments in hand. Thanking the older man, Tristan took the clothes and went behind the mahogany changing screen to change. Stripping off his simple attire, he held up the clothes that the servant had brought. Elyadon had been in mourning twice in his life before. Once for his great-uncle, a withered old man, and once for a second-cousin who died days after her birth. He had never really known the two, though, and this situation was entirely different. It was Aiden. Tristan had always taken his brother's presence for granted, and now that he was permanently gone, if felt as if there was a large hole in his life that he could not fill. Sighing, the prince slipped the several black garments on, placing a simple black leather hat on his head, the deep royal blue feather sagging in mourning.

Hensley said nothing as Kaleb stripped, switching his clothes for something darker and more formal. Something stiff. "Must the stitches be so uncomfortable?" he asked in frustration, tugging the ruffles on the neckline.

"It is from France, my lord." Hensley said, causing the prince to snort. France was known for their beauty in dress, although not as highly known for comfort. But the prince had other things to worry about, such as how to bring Serena to dinner without being too awkward.

Crystal walked around with the bundle of armor in her bag. She slung it around her shoulder. Her boy cut hair seemed to spike up. She then started practicing her man voice. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. She looked around
