Power:
Illuminate~ Acacia can certain parts of her body give off a glow that can be anywhere from eerie and dim to luminous and almost hard to look at. Depending on which part of her body is illuminated, and how bright it is, you can sometimes manage to see the dark outline of her bones, almost as if there were a flashlight under her skin. However, she can only illuminate one or two body parts at a time for a limited amount of time. Even her eyes. Because of the chemicals and natural oils on her skin, if she is willing to, she can create a temporary glow in whatever design she chooses on other things. Non-living things are much easier for her to make glow, and you might catch her tracing her fingers over rocks and other various things in her spare time. Other people and occasionally plants are more difficult for her to make glow, but if she tries hard enough, you might just find that you have a bright mustache or new, luminescent tattoo. As said before, these are temporary and will sometimes fade within minutes. As for making her whole body glow? She has attempted it, but has never gotten close.
Mimicry~ Her vocal cords are altered to be able to make sounds that she has heard before, and with practice, she's able to make two sounds at once (though it ends up sounding a little strange, most of the time). This comes in handy when mocking someone, though she sometimes wishes she had better control of it because when startled or suddenly frightened, she may end up replacing a shriek or a scream with random noises.

Mostly of European descent; Czechoslovakian, Romanian, Irish, Hungarian as well as Austrian. She also has Cherokee Indian blood in her.
Languages Spoken:
English is her main language, but she's working to learn French.
Looks:
Acacia stands at about 5'3, so obviously she isn't the tallest. Her hair reaches to about the middle of her back, give or take an inch or two, and is a dark, ashy brown color (almost to the point of being black). She has scruffy right-side bangs, and small wind-blown hairs scattered around her head. Her hair isn't hard to mess up, especially in the back. Most of the time you'll see her with straight hair that has small curls towards the ends, then in the back it is scruffier and probably needs to be brushed. Her eyes are a pale hazel color, and as most hazel eyes do, they will sometimes switch hues and go from green to brown and back to hazel again. They are rimmed with long, dark eyelashes (the lashes on her bottom eyelid are thinner and a little more spread out). When she uses her illuminating power, her eyes turn to a bright amber.
She's pretty slender, though she does have curves in both the right and wrong places, and her face is heart-shaped. Though she's definitely not muscular, she has a fair amount of arm, leg, and abdominal strength from constantly carrying heavy supplies and getting caught in awkward positions in trees, rocks, and other various places.




Personality:
Moody~
Acacia is, above all else, moody. She can easily go from happy one moment, to angry the next simply because it isn't hard (at all) to irritate her or get on her bad side. Whenever someone is irritating her, and depending on who they are, she can either be silent or sarcastic. If you've known her for a long time, she'll probably snap at you if you're making her mad. However, since she is so often seen as agitated, she tries to be nicer to those who she hasn't known long or who are shy or were oblivious to what they were doing. Her moodiness sometimes clouds her judgement and makes it harder for her to make friends at times, so she usually sticks with a small group of people. Despite this, she tries to take the other person's feelings into account and has a surprising amount of patience with anyone and everyone.
Curious~
Her curiosity almost always ends up getting the best of her. It also is what tends to get her into the most trouble. Because of her extreme curiousness, she will sometimes throw caution to the wind because she believes that if you hesitate, you might not end up doing what you wanted to do. She can be curious about anything, from secrets to simply wondering if she could fit on the top shelf in a closet (one of the many odd places she has gotten stuck in). Once she has an idea in her head, it's difficult to make her forget about it, and she'll continue trying at something until she has deemed it 'undoable'. And if there's a potentially juicy secret, be sure Acacia doesn't hear about it, because she'll pry and poke at it until the person is so fed up with her that they end up avoiding her, or just simply tell her (she is actually good at keeping secrets from others, despite her eagerness to acquire other people's).
Creative~
She has grown up acting and learning to make up things, work with things, and do just about anything in her own way. Because of the amount of time she has had to herself to act and study other actors, she has become quite talented and confident in her abilities. Most of the walls in her room have various notes and techniques. That and everything else there could be considered a chaotic mess. She's one person you could go to if you wanted to plan something out or learn how to do something in a more... unnatural way. She'll experiment with her ideas and go for/do whatever she considers the most creative or enjoyable. Sometimes, she'll grudgingly settle for an easier or normal way of attempting something, however. Her creativity is also a plus with for pranks.
Energetic~
Occasionally, Acacia will have lazy days like everyone else. But most of the time, she's energetic and always seems to be moving, whether she's just drumming her fingers, bouncing around, or being a little more chaotic than most people would like. Her energy fuels her curiosity and can (rarely) dull her moody behavior. She's up for just about anything, if it means she can move. This can make her either responsible, or irresponsible depending on what you're planning. Even if she's energetic, she isn't exactly... Loud. She can run around and have fun without having to yell or shriek, simply because she's gotten used to being like that at home.
Intelligent~
This is pretty self-explanatory. Though her intelligence branches out mostly to debates and things she can voice her opinion on, she also has good grades in school. Despite not exactly enjoying putting her voice in on things she doesn't quite know about, and the fact that it can be tricky for her to learn some subjects that she gets bored with, such as math, it's no problem for her to learn new techniques in things she's interested in such as art, drama, science, etc. Though, even if she does end up getting bored in a class, her doodling helps her focus and she ends up with credible grades most of the time. When she's not getting stuck in places and acting, she usually likes to bury herself in a book to pass the time.
Confident~
Her confidence is what allows her to do what she does. She has pretty much obliterated her fear of going on stage and acting, simply because she does it a lot and pretends as if she is actually in the scene with no one watching. It also gives her the courage to voice her opinions and not let what others say get to her.


History:
Acacia was actually born in Washington, and moved to Iron Pass when she turned two. So, Iron Pass has pretty much been the only place she has ever remembered. When she was growing up, she usually ended up staying inside because she got into trouble a lot with her parents. This gave her more time to get a taste for drama (to entertain herself) and built up her independence, since she was stuck by herself and had to plan things out/do things on her own. Though her parents were kind, they ended up disciplining her often for her actions, and because she never seemed to learn from her previous mistakes, it only ended up making her more aggravated that she had to continue staying inside. Plus, because she got used to being by herself, other kids just irritated her and she would tell them off or speak her mind. Guess where this lead to? More grounding and staying inside. Eventually when she reached the second or third grade, she started to learn that she couldn't really do what she was doing without going unpunished, and started to be better about her feelings towards others.
She continued on through school and started to ignored any advances from boys, if she ever got them. Some think it's because they ended up irritating her, while others assume she's just dense about flirting, but no one knows the real reasons. She has the desire to leave Iron Pass, as it is a small town and she believes she won't get anywhere if she stays. If she got attached to anyone but her parents, it might make it harder for her to leave. And she believes a 'boyfriend' might distract her from meeting her goals. This was proven right when she reached seventh grade and her productivity and her focus in her classes pretty much dropped. So, she now tries to avoid the 'dating game'. Her biggest dreams are to travel the world and become an actress. She plans to execute this as soon as she gets to be in college, and go off to someplace far from Iron Pass.

Likes:
+ Art in general. She appreciates looking at paintings, watching plays, and listening to music. But mostly she enjoys doing it.
+ Music. She can't go a day without it, and like art, it tends to bring out the best in her.
+ Achieving anything she's going for.

Dislikes:
- Prejudice. You want to get on her bad side? This is an excellent way to do it.
- Messing up. She doesn't like it, but she tries to work with her mistakes.
