I was a member there not long ago and it was always fine to trade for other sites' stuff.
If you check the forum for other sites on mweor you will find topics which ask for other currencies.

Oh, I see. It's just that I mentioned trading for some Howrse things and a member told me that off-site trading was not allowed. XD

Howrse is a difficult topic as some do say you can and others say you can not and there is no particular rule about this. To be on the safe side I would not.
