Sites that DO NOT allow off-site trading [Old thread]

I understand this doesn't have anything to do with CS, but does anyone know whether animal jam allows offsite trading ?? Like, I know cs banned it, but what about just in general?

Animal Jam isn't specific with offsite trading with other sites but I'm pretty sure it isn't allowed anyway. If you do an offsite trade involving AJ, then you'll obviously have to contact HQ about it. However, it isn't guaranteed you'll get the items back if you get scammed. This is mainly the reason why it technically isn't allowed.

Sites like Transformice definitely isn't allowed across with AJ (or ChickenSmoothie or other sites for that matter) as you have to pay money in exchange for pixel items.

So, the obvious answer is no, you can't offsite trade with Animal Jam.

The only art that can be used to get da points is if the art is created on DA itself.

This doesn't make sense to me. People hardly ever make art via Deviantart itself, and yet they sell art everyday using gimp, etc.

...But it's your art. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what program is used to make it. It's still your art.

From dA's Terms and Conditions for Points:



10. deviantPOINTS cannot be used, Transferred, sold or otherwise traded outside of the Site and any such activity is strictly prohibited.

Ohhh, that makes sense. So in other words, you CAN get dA points using the Oekaki, you just have to sell that art on dA.

(maybe they should do something against people who sell Pokemons on ebay then)
