Thought I'd create a thread for my favorite anime, Wolf's Rain!

For anyone who doesn't know what Wolf's Rain is, here's a good summary of it from it's Wikipedia page, since I'm not wonderful at descriptions.
According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, a place known as Paradise will appear. However, only wolves will know how to find it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction nearly two hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving by casting illusions over themselves to make them appear human.

The anime has had a manga adaption and multiple releases. From what I know, the only plush made of the show, was a chibi plush of Kiba. Although fans have made wonderful plush adaptions of the rest of the cast!

If you're alright with blood/gore in animation, I'd recommend Wolf's Rain. It has a wonderful soundtrack and story.

I'm not sure what else to put, so feel free to talk about the anime, or anything related to it! If you've made art of it, I'd love to see it.

This is one of my favourite animes of all times, I have all of the episodes on DVD and both of the manga's. I'm trying to get hold of any plushies I can get but being in the UK it's difficult

My favourite characters are Kiba and Toboe (I cry everytime on the last 4 episodes)

I could go on for ever about this show but I will stop here for know.

I also have the full series, but it's been lost for about a year sadly. I've recently been interested in the manga version, so I may check that out eventually!

It's really a shame there aren't many plushies, but I guess it makes sense, since the series clearly isn't for kids.

I honestly can't really pick a true favorite, but I really enjoy Blue and Toboe as characters!

I love this show so much. My aunt gifted me the series on DVD and I tried to order the soundtrack in March but international shipping has stopped being an option since then, so I'll have to wait until everything is back to normal.

How do you guys feel about the human drama element of the show? I always thought Lady Jaguara's whole deal felt kind of detached from the main plot tbh

This series was one of my favourites back when I was first getting into anime, I haven't seen it in a long time but I might have to watch it again to refresh my memory!

I remember some elements feeling a bit confusing, but maybe I'd understand it better now or maybe I should read the manga. I think it was mostly the plot points involving the human characters like the poster above mentioned, they felt just kind of there for embellishment sometimes from what I remember. I did grow to like Quent though!
Please take a look at my trades!! I have too many pets that need good homes! (っ゚Д゚;)っ

I hope it can get to you once all of this craziness is over! The soundtrack is wonderful, and really portrays the setting of the show accurately to me.

I honestly love that element, I decided to watch it since I love wolves and anime, I didn't expect the human element to be that strong, but I really enjoy it! I get really invested in it.

I sadly got into it quite late. You should rewatch it when you can, I can never get tired of it!

Some elements can be quite confusing, but I decided to read up on things, and I feel like that can help out. I think the humans weren't truly needed, but they do help make the plot more sad in my opinion, since they really are able to show how the world has been changed by them. I also grew to like Quent, especially near the end of the show.

Ahh Wolf's Rain!!

This was actually my first ever legitimate anime that wasn't like, Pokemon or Yugioh or something. It was actually my
gateway to watching tons of more anime and still watching anime to this day. I absolutely loved it, though sadly I've forgotten a lot due to how many years it's been since I've watched it ;-;. I do plan on rewatching soon, Toboe was MBOI.

      Ahhh yes!
It's funny I don't watch anime like whatsoever (aside from some studio ghibli films if they count, I'm not too sure) but I love wolf's rain. It deserves a continuation, which I don't think will ever happen sadly. It has such a unique vibe with such lovable characters, not to mention characters that are wolves and more mature looking ones compared to others I've seen. I love the more mature feel to it. I really loved watching the show progress and AGH my heartstrings v.v but that ending was amazinnnggg
Tsume and Blue are my favorites, I must say I quite like all of the characters...except for Cheza, she bothers me quite a bit...
Anyone else bothered by Cheza? I felt a lot of people actually enjoyed her character but I found her to be a bit too...idk. Aggravating. I appreciated her more the second time around when I watched the show, but still :'P

Also, does the manga adaptation add anything new to the story? I'm completely out of my element with this stuff haha I'm very sorry!
