I personally like choosing the lower level ones so that I have time to train them and I have more time to choose out their moves. xP

I have an Arcanine named Lu Tin. My brother caught, I named it, and then he sent it to me.

The same with my Houndoom, Hatori, my sister caught him as a Houndoor (spelling?) I named him and I traded for him
