SPOILER!! You don't need a red flute, you need to restore the power plant then go to the kanto radio tower, talk to a guy who gives you a card which enables the radio in kanto. Then go to the snorlax, open the pokegear and find the Pokemon Lullaby on the radio (I think it's at the top of the radar thingy), exit the pokegear (it should still play the lullaby) and talk to the snorlax and you have to defeat or capture him to continue

Snorlax is a good Pokemon to have on your team. My brother has one on his team I beleive. He has HeartGold. I have SoulSilver. Team Lugia FTW.

Hi guys! I am completely obsessed with Pokemon. Here's my current team:

Feraligatr- 45 *Joe*
Ampharos- 43
Lugia- 48
Togetic- 30 (needs training) *Ash*

I'm on the fourth elite four! Can't wait for Kanto!
The two other Pokemon I'll have on my team are probably:

Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard OR Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise.
If I get Charmander my other Pokemon will be Dewgong or Gyarados.
If I get Squirtle my other Pokemon will be one of these:

Ninetales, Blaziken, Typhlosion. Anyone have any suggestions? I need a fire type asap because I keep getting pwned by electric types (all pokemon are weak except Ampharos who can't kill them) and dragon-types (i think I have a solution.)

Anyone get their starter taught by that guy in Blackthorn? He taught my Feraligatr Hydro Cannon, 150 base power!!!

I'd say Charmander, as you already have a Feraligatr.
A good addition to your team would be a grass type, good against electric. If you can get bulbasaur, than that would be great, but oddish's evolutions are good. Celebi and Roserade and good too, but I don't know if you can get Celebi in Soulsilver.
