No shinies for me. Not on any game. But when I first got FireRed, the first pokemon I saw in the wild was shiny. But of course my starter was strong against it and I killed it before I could throw a pokeball...

Should we hold an Egg Swap? (A new thread would be made so the DPPt thread people can join too!)
Egg swaps are awesome. You breed several eggs and trade them off to different people. You don't tell your trade partners what's in them, it's a surprise until you hatch them! The only people who know are the heads of the egg swap. You have to disclose what you are trading to them so we can verify complaints. There will be different levels (i.e. egg swap for egg moves, rares, etc)

The Wi-Fi issue? A lot of people don't have it which is why I'm scouting for interest before I set it in stone.

I'd be willing to trade with people for female starters I don't have (basically everything that isn't Cyndaquil) for all sorts of goodies. I can breed up Eevees with Wish, Feebas, Cyndaquil, and I have a buttload of Charmander.

In order to do Wi-Fi you need to have a game that requires Wi-Fi as well asa wireless router that you can connect to. If you go into the main menu of your DS game and scroll down or look to where it says, "Nintendo Wi-i Connection Settings". If you click that it will bring you to a setup screen where you click "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings" in blue. There are several connections (3 to be exact) to where you can connect your Wi-Fi. Click on either one and click on "Serach for an Access Point". It will search for a few minutes until it gets one or more connections in your house. Click on the connection and you will either connect right away, or will have to enter a WEP Key. This is also known as your password for connecting into your wireless router. Once you put in the WEP Key (password) or just logged in automatically without a WEP Key, click on Yes to save the settings. Now it will bring you to a connection test. Click okay and let the connection test go for however long it takes. If it is successful, then it will say it was connected successfully and will take you back to the Wi-Fi connection screen again. You can check your connection again if you'd like by clicking on the blue button again and clicking on the new connection (Where it probably says "Ready").
There you go! Now you're connection is ready to be played with on one of your games :3
