all I'm saying is elves don't have to be blonde
I saw a few of the elf extras at work who didn't have blonde hair.
there are a few elves in rivendell who don't have blonde hair, you can see that quite clearly in the hobbit.
I'm going to Rivendell in a few weeks. to meet Legolas.

Were there any blonde haired elves in Rivendell at all? (excluding Galadriel, of course ^^ But she's not from Rivendell anyway)
@Frodo Baggins Have fun! =D I can only watch the extended editions online. My parents keep telling me it's a waste of money to buy them because we already have the normal editions.

Lol but it's not very bad quality online anyway. ^^

My favourite line in the hobbit:
'I don't like green food'

I saw a blu-ray pack of the trilogy yesterday with a good price. I wasn't sure if it was the extended edition, though, so I haven't bought it yet. It has loads of hours of behind the scenes footage and extras. Could be worth it. I'd have to blow an entire month's pocket money for it, though. >_>
@athena115 Lol, Ori is my favorite dwarf in the movie adaptation of The Hobbit! He's so adorable, especially when he says that line! x3 In the books, I much prefer Balin. He was very kind to Bilbo, if I remember correctly.

He's a bit too different in the movie, I think. I read the first chapter of The Hobbit yesterday, and he talks so much more and seems much kinder in the books.
I love how Tolkien always made a point of Bombur being the fattest. Still gets a chuckle out of me. I hope he gets more lines in the next movie, but I also want to see more of Bofur and Dwalin. They seem really interesting in the movie. Also... Am I the only one to find Bifur a little odd? Then again he does seem to have something stuck in his head. What is it, an axe?
