I have an unbeleivable amount of cats I want to die. Firestar is my first (thank god he is..)

I was re-reading The Darkest Hour, and, Idk if 'ty' Erins' ment to, but they put TigerStar, instead of Tigerstar, I was like, ehmem, okay..

Tigerstar! You we're so right!! A house-cat shouldn't be a leader! Ugh, look at all the things happended because of Firestar ;-; Otay, lets start. Antpelt, I could totally see him as a good cat, I mean, he was nice, I really dk why he 'wanted' to be in Dark Forest, but I guess he didn't have a choice. And if Firestars daughter didn't excist, Antpelt would be alive. And all the other characters, woah.. lets not even get started..

It does sort of bug me that Erin kills off everyone eventually except their pile of former protagonists. It's not what breaks the series for me, but it is a little annoying.

Why does Hunter keep the characters we know already and kill off young ones with potential?
New characters are always interesting and you can't wait to see what they're like!
Snowkit would've been amazing. Swiftpaw had potential I'm sure. Not to mention the dozens of OtS cats.

Oh. Don't tell me. I'm a huge Gravity Falls fan so I know.

I have some litterbox advice. Place the cat in so it can get used to the environment. Then put your hand in and scratch the litter sand. I advise to do this after they eat, and do this every couple of days until they know what to do. Trained both of my cats this way, Mika got a hang of it earlier then Mimi, but the time it take so for each cat depends on them. Your cat should know how to use the litterbox in a week or two.

I'll give more advice when I get on my computer. Hope this helps and congrats!

@mint tea lady - congrats! a little tip, and obvious, to. When you first get a cat, I mean, obviously it's going to be shy, and obviously you're not going to shove you're face in it with love (maybe..) so you probablly herd other say this, but you may want to leave it in one room for a week or so, and introduce it slowly to the house/wherever you live. Thats what I did, and my cat ended up knowing it's way around the house like an expert, despite his blindness. (if you keep it in you're bedroom first, it'll probablly sleep with you<3)

I know exactly what you mean, I'm soo tired of Bramblestar, and as it seems, the characters who are known mostly threw out the book are so OP!

DON'T name your cat any name from the warrior's series, just telling you that now..

I named my first cat Greystripe. Idk why but when I was 11 I loved Greystripe >:I Don't judge meh.
It ended up being stupid. ;-;

I know that shame well...I had a cat named Spottedleaf (who, ironically, had a lot of kittens later on and was quite a fighter).

Depending on where you live, be very careful about letting them go outside without supervision. Rural areas attract wild animals, and urban areas have cars, but your cat should be smart enough to eventually handle themselves. Just watch them at first, maybe put a harness on them, and then slowly give them more room to wander.
