I know you are not complaining, there is always something in fandoms that people don't like, trust me I have my far share in all the ones i'm in other than Homestuck. Yeah they're not to be taken seriously and well in this fact people do what they like, I like the whole idea of Tricksters being kind of dark, it appealed to me, though more like an opposite personality, a 2P so to speak. Exactly, everybody knows which are evil and which are not, it's just a little twisted fun some people as like a what if or maybe they're doing some sort of AU. I think that if such is done, then there should be a reason for the uncharacteristic look and act, if there is and explained well enough, I fine with that, though if there isn't well, it's yes frowned upon towards some people.
It's fun basically, is it liked by some no as you said, you don't like it, then that's fine, everybody has their own mindset for fandom characters most of which that follows a story, a headcannon here and there as well but there's always the what ifs.

I was just saying that grimdark ≠ evil. No need to lecture me about it, it's my opinion, I'm just stating it. I am not bashing your headcanons at all, which is what I'm picking up here from what you're saying.

Over explaining things is my down point, though I surely wasn't believing you were bashing anything, all is fine. You where just explaining your thoughts is all and really respect that, some people tend to get a bit angry on the subject of opinions and doesn't end well. ^^
