Alright...shoot me now, but...anyone know a site I can use to help me navigate through catching Kyogre in HG?

Did you try good old Serebii? Like what problems are you having? Catching Kyogre or getting to Kyogre in the first place?

Okay, just from Googling it doesn't sound like there's a maze or anything that will inside trip you up. Just stairs and OMFGLEGENDARY if you have the Orb of your version. I'm not 100% sure so I'll keep looking. I haven't been there yet since I keep pissing away all my time at Voltorb Flip.

For Kyogre, standard Legendary protocol. Get it down to as little HP as you can (something high level with False Swipe will be invaluable, as False Swipe always leaves one HP. You can teach it to anything with claws although considering this is Kyogre you might want to bring a high level Weavile or Scizor with False Swipe), Paralyze or put it to Sleep (Static will be next to useless since Kyogre has no physical moves if I recall correctly, so bring something with Thunder Wave, Stun Spore, etc) and chuck Ultra Balls or Heavy Balls until you catch it.

You need to have beaten red before you do this. Go to Mr. Pokemon, the guy from the beginning of the game that gave you the Togepi egg, and get the Blue orb for Heartgold and the Red orb for Soulsilver. You take it to the Embedded Tower and in Heartgold, you get to battle Kyogre, and in Soulsilver, you battle Groudon. Get both, and go to Oak, and you get the Jade Orb, which you go there again and get to battle Rayquaza.

My team is nowhere near lvl 100. My Typhlosion, Katon, is only in the 70's. She's my HIGHEST level Pokemon, too.

XD I haven't even tried catching the legendaries yet. I go to, but then I get nervous and I screw up and either feint 'em or don't have any luck with balls.
BTW, I was never good at knowing which balls to use. What would you all recommend for a game-stupid n00b like me to use and if it's a special ball, where would I get it? XD That goes for all of 'em btw, but mostly Suicune and Mewtwo since those are the two I actually noted the locations of. XD.
